Founders' Day 2008
What is everyone doing for Founders' Day? I am celebrating with the Houston Alumnae Chapter at the Racquet Club.
|
our chapter always celebrates with our alumnae chapter and the ceremony will take place next Sunday.
On a side note, we're having a 2nd initiation for a new member who won't be there on initiation, and she's being initiated on our actual founding day. |
THAT is great!

That's cool ^
Our alumnae chapter will be celebrating with the Zeta Psi chapter at the Argyle Club here in San Antonio. |
I am in central Florida for a few more weeks and will be joining the Orlando Alumnae Chapter this weekend for a Founders Day Luncheon!
|
This last Saturday we had an AWESOME Founders Day luncheon at the Argyle with 26 alumnae and 51 collegians from Zeta Psi :)
The Argyle chef makes wonderful green enchiladas. It was topped off by us celebrating a birthday for one of our sisters who happens to share her birthday with Founders Day. So we always end our luncheon by singing her happy birthday and having cake! |

Over here at Alpha we have a recruitment expo where we get to meet a ton of pnms! We celebrate with local alumnae at the Alpha house on Sunday morning, but spreading Gamma Phi Beta...and Panhellenic love will be a wonderful way to celebrate Founder's Day! Isn't that the point of it all...to spread what we love? Happy Founders Day everyone! in IIKE, GammaPhi88 |

It sure is! Thank you Frances, Helen, Mary and Addie for giving all of us the gift of your love to share! |
St. Louis is having a brunch tomorrow, which I am very excited about. Last weekend I got to experience my first collegiate-version initiation, and tomorrow I get to attend my first Founders' Day celebration. :) I am on the committee for the brunch, and the last RSVP count I saw was for right at 150 ladies. The theme this year is "Celebrate Our Collegians" and we'll be highlighting the philanthropies of the three MO chapters (Delta Nu is still a colony, and a brand new one at that, so I don't think we will have any of their members in attendance).
Did I mention I'm super excited?!? :D |
We had a nice luncheon with an awesome speaker....Georgia Griffiths (GH) is the 2008 Distinguished Alumna of the Year for CSULB's School of Mathematics and Natural Sciences...and I can see why! She was smart, classy, adorable and funny.
Very cool for Gamma Etas to know when they go to class in the new G2 science building it was donated by a sister! |
