Inviting a date

Okay, I am wondering if anyone has a cute way that they have asked a guy to a date function. I have chalked the steps of a guy's fraternity house, and I sent my pledges over to serenade my date to formal, but I am running out of ideas. If someone has one, let me know!

Inviting a date

The young ZTA that became my wife, and her ZTA roommate, sent myself and another Kappa Sig on a little "wild goose chase" to invite me to her formal. BTW, it was our first "date."

She called and left a message that I was to be at my friend's apartment at a certain time. I show up, and there's a note addressed to me, with a clue to find the next place we're to go. We find our way to the next "station" where there is yet another clue waiting for us. After about three of these clues, with little gifts at each one cluing us into what we were being invited to (ZTA formal), the last clue led us to a place frequented by greeks; where the girls were waiting for us - with burgers and suds ready to enjoy, along with written invitations to formal. It was really cool, made me feel great because she/they had spent so much effort to put it together - and BOTH couples have now been married for 10 years - so needless to say - it worked!

That has to be the cutest story I have heard in a long time . . . And I thought that type of thoughtful romance was dead. Good for you Brad! And her of course:).

PS. I would propose marriage to a girl with that kind of mind also ;).

Hello my Lion buddy! Delta Beta I'm assuming you're a wonderful Phi Mu because of your signature! Anyway that is really cute. I've just plain out asked them. I'm not creative like that!

Last night, I actually went to a frat house on behalf of a sister to ask a guy to barndance for her. We wrote a little poem (funny, not romantic) and a group of us read it to him. The problem is, he said no :-(. Send love to my poor friend.

Brad that was the cutest story I've heard in a long time too. I agree with James. :) She seems very special.

I am bumping this topic, because I need a date for yet another event. He has a great sense of humor, so I want to do something out of the ordinary.

Okay, so I got one of those little cookie cakes and had them write "pledge dance?" in frosting. My friend took it over there, but he wasn't home, so she gave it to his roommate. I am waiting to hear from him, but I hope his roommies don't eat it first.

Have you heard anything yet?

DeltaBetaBaby 01-26-2002 01:54 PM

Actually, he called at 2am (and woke me) to accept the invitation. He was like "you could have just asked."
