i'm the panhell rep for my sorority

we're trying to do something different this year with recruitment for next spring, and we're trying to come up with some cool ideas for round 1 of recruitment.

it will be formal recruitment, and my school is fairly small. we have 7 NPC sororities on campus, and are expecting about 200-300 girls to come out in the spring.

any quick ideas of something cool you all have heard of? we are so tired of just doing crafting with the PNMS - we want something more fun and creative.

give us some more information. what have you been doing? what are the present themes of the rounds? how structured is your recruitment?

Is round one your informational "open house" round or philanthropy round or what? You need to provide a bit more info so that we can be helpful.

I would change to a short film about your philanthropy and make the rest of the party conversation and getting to know the girls. The crafts from philanthropy rounds don't get used half the time, from what people have said on here.

for Philanthropy round at our chapter this year we had six different "ports". I'm a DG and the anchor is our symbol so we were kind of sticking to that theme. Each one had something to do with our philanthropy and the things we do for it. We had the Italian Dinner port, Tee Off port, Anchor Splash port, Service for Sight, Pie a DG, and it was the night we had to do a finance demonstration so that was the other port. It worked out really cute and was something different for the PNMs. We had tour guides who led them around the house and then there were 3-6 girls in each port to talk to the PNMs.
