Room?????
Hey,
So the houses at the University of South Carolina are big, My sister is a Tri Delta and she says that in her house you don’t share the bedrooms with another member. So my question is….. In a fraternity house do you share a room with another member or do you get a room to yourself? Also I work with a sorority sister and her house doesn’t let freshmen live in the house until their sophomore year. Does that go for fraternity houses too? GO GAMECOCKS!!!! |
That depends on the fraternity and the campus.

Ok, the color switching is as bad as alternating Caps and Lower case.
Anyway, in my house we had 6s, quads, two 3s, one 2 and "the zoo" (8). The 6 and 8s were enormous. |
I didn't read your post. Could you please repost it in a readable, monochromatic font? Thanks.

couldn't your sister answer your questions?

I'm gonna bet your sister's been in a fraternity house before. Probably even in a room! Ask her.
I have a roommate in the house, but it depends on what specific house and campus you're at. |
I want to know how long it took you to type that post. There's too much going on with the style...
Anyway, to answer your question: on my campus, each IFC fraternity and NPC sorority house has 9 bedrooms, with one person assigned to each room. But my campus is small, so depending on the size of yours it will change. |
Thanks for choosing a color :)
Polo, I think you need to take a step back from all of this. From my side of the internet, it appears that you are coming onto Greekchat with completely random questions and are just asking these things to ask them. Consider that this site has been around for quite a while now (in internet years) and no one that I know of has ever started a thread inquiring as to whether they will have roommates. The reason for this is that 1) most of us don't go to your school; and 2) we have no earthly idea where you're going to end up or even whether you're going to receive a bid. Without knowing those things, how do you expect an answer? You probably know, if you have friends in fraternities, that every single house on your campus has a different living arrangement. When you start talking to houses you're interested in rushing, this is a question to ask them (if living arrangement is important to you). This question and many of your other questions are just not things you really should be asking here. In the future, before you post a question, consider who will be able to answer you adequately... then consider whether you should be asking the question in the first place. As an aside, you seem a bit too eager to get into a fraternity. If this sort of thing shows during rush, you're going to be lucky to get a bid. The over eagerness and over inquisitiveness are just a bit strange and off-putting. |

Dude, seriously, do what high school boys are supposed to be doing: drive around blasting music of questionable quality from your car, hang out with your friends (I mean real friends, not facebook ones) and go to the 7-11 and buy some porn. You're more worried about rush and college than most of the HS girls that come on here. |
