Hey I plan on rush in formal recruitment in the Spring, and I'm only nervous on one thing...I am sort of shy until you get to know me, and I was wondering how the sororities look at shy girls? Even, if they like the same things they like?

You'll be fine. Go into recruitment with an open mind and be willing to step outside of your comfort zone to meet new people. Depending on your campus culture and the competitiveness of your Greek system, your shyness may not cause any huge problems.
