I'm going to a rush party on Saturday. I'll keep you posted on my experience

My rush party is tomorrow night and I'm so nervous. It's going to be great though. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!! lol

It was great. I met so many wonderful people. We have about 8 girls and are going to start a new chapter here. It's all happening so quickly. YAY!

Rush was pretty nice. The hostess of the party also happens to be the VP of the chapter (Beta Iota Delta). She doesn't live to far from me.

We had pizza and played board games. I felt a little at of place because the ladies of this particular chapter are a little bit older then I am and are married with kids. But they were super nice to me. I left my email address with the VP and she is going to email me when they have events. I think she said they meet every 3rd Sunday and the meetings are part social,part business.

But overall I had a good time

glad it went well. if you don't feel comfy in that chapter i'm sure there is another one in that area that you will be ok with. things are going ok down here. some of us girls are going to the city council's fun day tomorrow night to try to get to know the other chapters better. it's going to be a blast. i love the ladies in our city and they are praying for us every day.

Since the rush party on Saturday, I have received the monthly newsletter from the Beta Iota Omega chapter and just today I received a phone call from the City Council Representative. She told me that she was going to have the VP of a chapter that has people my age to contact me and that she (the CCR) was going to sent me an invitation to a Rush party that going to be at the end of October.

Gosh, everything is happening so fast. And to think that I was going to skip the party on Saturday. I'm so glad that I didn't. This is such a good way for me to get out and meet people. As always, I will keep you posted

Rush was good. The lucheon that I went to a couple of weeks ago was so awesome. The theme was 7 decades of friendship and they had differnt chapters share their memories of BSP thur the ages. I met some really nice people who just started a chapter last year. I'm thinking of joining that chapter. BSP is a wonderful organization. I would encourage everybody to get involved in it
