How should we respond to The Attack on the United States?

My question is how far should we go? My first thought is to use nuclear weapons, so that we don't have to submit our troops to extreme danger.

After seeing the horror in NY and DC and seeing people overseas celebrating in the streets, I have to admit I thought some terrible thoughts. I had to pray a lot and ask for forgiveness.

What do you think? I guess we all need to keep in mind that the choices that are made over the next few days will have an impact on our lives for years to come.

However we respond, we need to make sure we have an exact target and DO NOT go off and bomb Middle Eastern countries just for bombing's sake. I'm deeply resenting what's happening to Arab Americans and Muslims right now.
Don't feel bad about your anger regarding the celebrations. We're all in a reaction mode.

I think we should take the time needed to get to the bottom of all this and to be accurate of our target or move. I hope we do get the evidence we need to pinpoint the people connected as well as responsible for these attacks on us and bring them to justice. These attacks were needless and heartless. I know the U.S. may not be innocent in some things but these attacks on us was simply not called for. These events are very saddening because I know a lot of lives and families will never be the same. I am angry that our way of life now has been altered due to the fear and prevention of repeated and future attacks. It also maddens me that these people have the gall to attack and threaten us. I have conflicting thoughts of all this, sometimes I think, "let's bomb these heartless people and give them something to fight about", and then I think, "maybe we should just pray for these ignorant people and hope no more lives are taken from all this". I am not one for violence but something like this can sure bring the worse out of you. However, I support our president and military with their decision to handle this, and pray for the guidance and strength from our lord and saviour.
