Advice for a PNM

After remaining independent through my freshman year, I can back to PSU this year with a very intense desire to go greek. I had attended a few COB parties at a sorority, but didn't receive a bid; so I signed up for formal recruitment. I went through with an open mind; however, I unfortunately was not invited back to any of the sororities whom I liked and connected with. Altough I know I will recieve some criticism for this, I decided to drop after the only sorority to invite me back for Pref night was the one who was consistently at the bottom of my list because I felt zero connection (Just trying to keep a basic, akward conversation was grueling, and each of the sister's who rushed me seemed distracted and disinterested-Which leads me to question why I was held on to so long?), as well I just was not passionate about their philanthropies and disappointed in what seemed to be a lack of enthusiam about them (One of the girls, when I asked her what their philanthropy was couldn't even offer an explanation!) . But onto my actual point (I apologize for the lengthy-ness, but I think the situation deserved some explanation)-Would it be best to wait until Spring recruitment, to e-mail the recruitment chairs about COB/Snap events, or (most likely not) accept that perhaps I wasn't meant to go greek?

I defintely don't see the harm in checking out some COB events. No one can tell you whether you'll get a bid or not, but it's worth a try.
