Hi, I just recieved my bid this morning and I am anxious to find out when I will get my big!

Does a new sister usually get their bid before, during, or after pledging?

Depends on the chapter.

Most likely during pledging. I think mine was like 4 weeks after i got my bid.

Congratulations on getting your bid to DPhiE! I bet you're excited. Most NPC chapters give you a "buddy" of some type on bid day to help you get settled. You'll have some time to get to know the women who will be bigs that year. I do believe that some chapters give out Bigs on bid day, but they are very much in the minority in the NPC. Have fun!
