Helping Out
 

I know that its not all that much, but I'm helping to collect stuffed animals to send to the children of the firefighters, police officers, and EMTs who lost their lives saving others. If anyone is interested in helping out and sending stuffed animals I would be more than happy to e-mail the address to send them to once I get it. Please drop me a private message if you are interested. Also, remember to go give blood in a week or so if you are able--even before the tragedy the Red Cross blood supply was at a VERY low level.

Wish I could help from my end, but my Alumnae Association is made up of all military familes and we will be focusing on the work here that will go to NYC and to the Military base here, but I am sure some college chapters will be looking for ideas as well...you have set the bar...

Thank You for the wishes, I had no idea that we lost a KD until Friday. I guess everyone was hurt by this no matter who you are or where you live...I cannot even get into it or I would be here all night! But she had just graduated in 1999, she had so much more ahead...
