Grey's Anatomy: Season 5
 

Starts tonight! Can't wait! LOOOVE this show.

(And yes, I'm making a new thread for this season so when I'm on my blackberry I can get to new responses more quickly)

I hope I like this season. I didn't like 3 so much and I hated Derek for most of (the very short) season 4. I want to like him and them again. I truly do. I want him to look at her with that look that screams McDreamy. The look we ALL want someone looking at us. I want them happy, blissfully happy.

I doubt it's going to be that way.

I so want that too. Why can't one couple on TV ever just stay together and be happy? Why do things only work out on series finales?

You didn't see the season 4 finale? I thought that brought MerDer back to where they were before Dark and Twisty Mere came on the scene.

I love this show, too but was not that into it last year. I hope this season is better.

I watched last season's finale again this morning. There really was some great acting during that episode. I want to see what happens already!

We're questioning how long they'll let them stay in that place though. 5 minutes!

Crap, I should've done that while I was trying to kill time till 9!!

*running around like Kevin, the stage manager on All That* 5 minutes, 5 minutes till we start the show! 3 minutes to show! All cast to stage! WE'RE OUT OF MINUTES!!! :D

I'm so glad the commercial breaks are short this show!


ETA: 1. DDDDAAAAAHHHH!!!! The storm makes my tv go black like once every minute. 2. I have to pee but don't dare move. I'm only on here because I can type without looking at my fingers. :mad:

Tooooo many commercials!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think that the army surgeon is going to become a regular on the show. I predict that he steps in tonight and saves someones life....maybe the patient that McDreamy is working on???

I LOVE the new guy! Still can't help thinking of him in Made of Honor. Still funny to see him and Patrick Dempsey together in Grey's...

Yep! Although he looks goofy as a blond in that movie, I must confess he's McHotty (sorry, had to do that) as a redhead in military gear.

I hate Rose and am glad she is gone.

Same here. I have a feeling I am going to be watching it online tomorrow, because I think I missed some key points to the storm.

It is on in two weeks because we have a stupid VP debate next week. BOO! :mad:

Supposedly, she wants out of the show. So, it would not surprise me, especially after her no-thanks-to-an-Emmy-nomination debacle.

One hour in and so far...it's o.k. Entertaining for sure but not the big :eek: I was expecting. I'm guessing the 2nd hour will be better right?

After the first few minutes, I was ready to ditch the show forever. Then I came to my senses and thought "If Patrick Dempsey was off the show, we'd have heard about it through some rumor mill" and I calmed down, figuring it was a dream. I still didn't like how indecisive Meredith is about it all though.

Hate how McSteamy is treating George.. just wrong.

I could do without the Callie/Hahn storyline too.

That first scene with Derek dying, I was yelling at my tv.
I'm not sure about the Callie/Hahn storyline, but I thought it was funny how they were talking about being virgins.

I think it is time for Cristina to have some love. Army dude (forgot his name) seems dark and twisty or well twisty anyway. Who would give themselves staples?

Second to Izzy. That was weird! The only I can say in regards to that ending is WTF!

While I know I should be more interested in this election, I am over it. It is all about who can insult the other candidate. I would much rather watch paint dry than another debate...

Looooved Army dude. Definitely wouldn't mind seeing more of him. I think he's a good counterpoint for Christina.

I saw it again today (on a friend's friend's Ti-VO). It's like re-reading a book--I noticed some things I didn't see last night (how Lexi smells George behind his back :p). These are going to be two weeks of TORTURE. I think Christina was being so mean about happy endings because her wedding blew up in her face. I think there's still some resolution to be had there. And after McHunky (love it ;)) told her all about "the wild side" on the battlefield, she might consider leaving and there'll be all this back-and-forth on it (but she won't go anywhere).

McHotty is easier to say.

And to whomever spoke about wondering who would give themselves staples... He's a hard army guy. You don't always have time to be cozy in the field. My stepdad has told me stories that would make your blood boil. But, you do it. AND, I think he was immediately attracted to Christina and wanted to impress her by being McBadass.

This one makes me laugh because it fits so well. :p

Well, there we go. At least the two of us may have nailed down a name: McBadass. :)

To Tippiechick in regards to the staples...
I understand in the field, but when you are in a hospital?

Oh yeah I think that was the biggest thing to get Cristina. The pen trachea was intriguing, but the staples won her over.

He didn't exactly seem to be the most patient person especially when he told her that he needed to check on his patients. He probably just wanted the staples in and over with to get back to work.
