Look at the house.
This is the picture of the ZTA house on the university's web page. It had our entire name spelled out on the house. Why does it look so bad now? I am so heart broken.

Did it use to look like this? (Sorry to crash) I wonder what happened to the other letters?

Yes it did. Are you a Delta Pi girl? I have no idea what happened to the letters. I am sure some frat guys got them. But why didn't they replace them? And what is the deal with the chair on the covering to the front door? Talk about trashy.

at what college is this zeta house located?
|
Troll.
|
It is at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, NM. It is the Delta Pi chapter. Sadly I have been out of work for the last few months and have nothing to send to them.
|
Didn't they used to test bombs in New Mexico?
|
All trollishness aside, do houses in New Mexico typically look like that?
|
Gotta love the trolls!
No, houses don't usually look like this. It is the strangest house in the world. It was bulit by the PIKE frat but their charter was pulled so the Zeta ladies rent it from the university. |
It's photoshopped. And, while it does provide a link, I have yet to actually find that on ENMU's site..
Just someone trying to be funny. |
Sadly, it's a legit picture on a legit site: http://enmu.edu/about/map/buildings/ztah.shtml
|
I am not someone trying to be funny. This is MY chaper, I called that house my home for 3 1/2 years. I lived there for 2 of them! I really thought this would be a good place to talk to some ZTA sisters but I can see that it isn't.
Here is the link to the ENMU page. http://www.enmu.edu/about/map/buildings/ztah.shtml |
Rally your chapter alum sisters! Start a fundraiser! Contact the alums in the area! Contact the undergrads and let them know their alums are concerned and interested in them! DO something! Complaining on an anonymous message board about how "heartbroken" you are isn't going to help the girls in New Mexico.

Instead, you chose to post a picture of your old damaged house on the internet. While it was on the ENMU site, you chose to put it into view of many more people. And, you chose to call out your old chapter that's in trouble. Putting ZTA business out into a public forum is in bad taste. Perhaps you could try the private sisters site. |
If that's the worst you have ever seen a sorority house look, you have led a truly rarified existence. Yeah, the letters need put back up, but it honestly isn't "heartbreaking."
FLBunny, I'm not sure that you understand that EVERYONE can see what you post on here - not just Zeta sisters. People from other groups who might dislike your chapter can see it as well and take advantage of anything negative. These are not restricted or private forums. If you wish to discuss this w/ Zeta sisters only, you should use the private side of the national Zeta website. |
true that!
i am sorry that you chapter is having troubles. i did go to our national site and surfed the housing area until i found the house you posted. i then visited your chapters website. it was a nice site. as 33 said, if you want to speak of sensitive zeta issues, you should go to our "sisters only" section on the national zta site. |
Another great reason to read the House Rules before posting!
|
Is there a local housing corp or is the house part of National Housing Corp? Have you contacted them to find out if renovations are planned for the near future? Have you contacted the PP for the chapter to express your concern?
We're happy to lend a ZTA shoulder to cry on, but the folks involved locally should be your first point of contact. To discuss chapter business, please don't use GC for that - log in to the ZTA Sisterhood Central forum. |
