Can you not even try to be a little bit discreet, Tom?

What an idiot. What, don't they want you over at HPRL anymore either?

I've only ever known one person who said he went there. And he's a nutjob. So I'd steer clear, just to be safe.

If he does not not seem to be nice, he must be nice.

Double negative negates - remember your grammar, you'll need it at Pittsburg State:)

agzg 09-19-2008 03:08 PM

I love the art of the double negative. For example: "Well, officer, I'm not not drunk..."

My 10-year-old tries to use it all the time: "Dad, can I not not watch more TV?"

Golly.

Tami was the ultimate gold-digger. :(

agzg 09-19-2008 04:34 PM

If I remember correctly, doesn't family guy use a lot of double negatives, too?

Benzgirl 09-19-2008 08:02 PM

you people are funny.

So after reading all of the negative, i decided two drive over and see for myself about the lxa chapter and the school. it is a nice school and the guys there were super. i mentioned tom earp and were all very nice. they have a new house and are growing from what i was told. i cannot be more happy with the way i was treated and accepted. told them i would be there in january and they told me to come back any time and visit.
i would be welcome.

Senusret I 09-22-2008 04:05 PM

chettyg100 09-22-2008 04:17 PM

Oh come on, Earp.

Are you serious?

I get the feeling that that Lambda Chi chapter hates you with a passion.

SOPi_Jawbreaker 09-22-2008 07:31 PM

But there's too many words spelled right. Upgraded to Firefox or just ran out of vodka?

Benzgirl 09-22-2008 07:36 PM

I am a little confused here. Let's get this straight:

You got in your car and drove to a different city. You went to a fraternity house that is at a school you don't attend. You said "Hey guys, I asked about you on the internet and was wondering if the bad stuff was really true?" They said "Oh hello friendly stranger. No, it is all lies. We are great! Life is great!" You said, "Okay cool guys, sounds good. Oh yeah, they also said something about some guy named Tom Earp." Brothers say "Tom Earp is awesome! We love him." You say, "Oh, okay, cool, I'll go home now." They say "Thanks for randomly showing up at our house, guy who doesn't attend our school! Come back for rush in January! We'll have Kool-Aid!"

Is this about right?

You've got it straight, GeekyPenguin. Except you missed his post in the Lambda Chi forum -- apparently, they've already asked him to join.

SWTXBelle 09-23-2008 02:25 PM

How have I missed this? Aw, Earp, isn't there enough happening in HPRL to keep you busy?

Chetty, meet Earp.
Earp, meet Chetty.

It's just like looking into a mirror . . .

chettyg100 09-23-2008 04:16 PM

Earp knows the word "skanks"?

Doesn't seem very Earpish, especially for a guy who said golly gee whiz.

But seriously, this is ridiculous. Earp, you're a child. With bad spelling.

I guess we were feeding him gooey buns. I know that'd make me mean.

Yeah but didn't Earp like gooey buns?

Earp created gooey buns. Which came first -- the crazy childish tantrums or the gooey buns? The world may never know.

agzg 09-23-2008 05:20 PM

I missed gooey buns so I'm not an expert.

He's also the guy that referenced women "spreading their thighs" and could get pretty nasty when he got fired up (and sauced, most likely). I am confident much worse than "skank" has come out of his mouth/keyboard. I never bought the "golly" and "swell" stuff from him anyway.

Do people often get lost in big trees in your neck of the woods? You should put up better signage

I pictured someone getting lost inside a tree and it made me LOL.

I think skanking isn't really en vogue anymore, but maybe things are slower in Pittsburg, KS. It might be hard to skank in trees though.

Unless, of course, you would be referring to lynching people, which really isn't very nice. :(
