I wanted to update. They did NOT do the surgery...too risky. We are now doing a waiting time until Monday to see if medicine therapy can help resolve some of clots. Situation is still very fragile.

KSigkid 09-19-2008 11:31 PM

Prayers going out to you.

nittanyalum 09-19-2008 11:45 PM

So sorry to hear it, I hope the situation improves!

You are both in my prayers.

AXi1257 09-21-2008 09:44 AM

I hope all turns out well. I will be thinking of your family and praying for you. If you don't mind me being nosey, would you PM me regarding what is going on. I've been a critical care RN for over 10 yrs now and deal w/ this stuff daily. Just wondering if I can lend a little more insight and support for you. Take care!

Cheryl is still pacing the hospital halls. She wanted me to update here but there isn't much going on right now. We just have to wait and pray.

I'm praying for an excellent outcome to this surgery.

Hubby finally home late last week, and I'm just now getting a chance to update. His doctors decided not to do surgery, but do medication therapy instead. Although he is home, his health is not 100%. Recovery time will be several months until he is completely well. Thanks for keeping us in prayer, and I ask that you still do so. It's going to be a long road for all of us over here.

*I am lifting you and your husband up in prayer*
