Fringe

did anyone watch?

Any thoughts?

Anyone (besides myself) flying soon????

Leslie Anne 09-09-2008 10:49 PM

Oh, darn it! I forgot to watch it. :(

NAU_OPhiA 09-10-2008 01:32 PM

My husband and I watched it last night. I thought it was interesting and I will probably watch it again.

... and now that you mention it, I am flying soon. I didn't even think about that!

ASTalumna06 09-10-2008 01:40 PM

What is Fringe?

BetteDavisEyes 09-11-2008 01:46 AM

I wanna know what the hell The Pattern is.

The red-headed secretary lady creeps me out.

I also like how the agent lady (Dunham?) told the Joshua Jackson character that he was the only one that spoke Walter. Good laughing moment.

My husband and I watched and we really enjoyed it. He thought he saw that the flight was "Oceanic" but I'm not too sure on that one. :) I'll be watching again. I just hate getting too involved in new shows because the ones I like typically get canned.:(

WarEagle07 09-17-2008 04:21 PM

Well, I will watch it again and give it some time to develop. I loved agent Dunham and thought she was well played. I also loved the character of Phillip Broyles, the homeland security chief. I hated the CGI signs that marked where events were taking place, they need to be smaller. I also hate to get tied up in another show that may be as convoluted and addictive as Lost!

ZTAMich 09-17-2008 05:45 PM

They film here in the Bronx near my apt...kinda cool!

BetteDavisEyes 09-18-2008 11:47 PM

I'll be honest, I like the show though the whole eyeball thing & using a high-powered camera to show what the girl had last seen before she died was a bit much for me.

KDAngel 09-22-2008 01:26 PM

So I've only watched the pilot (the first hours) and I love it thus far. Definitely very interesting.

AOII_LB93 09-24-2008 08:17 PM

I'm still in...thus far it's a good show.

Same here.

I never was too big of a fan of Joshua Jackson in his Dawson's days, but I absolutely adore him now.

ditto

I liked this week's episode. Walter is the best part of the show to me. He's funny and injects humor into the show.
I'm still wondering WTH was that thing they pulled out of the girls hand.

Leslie Anne 09-27-2008 12:55 PM

I keep missing it and having to catch it on Fancast. Love the show so far. It's got a great cast. I'm just hoping it doesn't go off into some crazy, endless, convoluted plotline like Lost.

agzg 09-30-2008 09:42 PM

Ok - so far - wow.

DaemonSeid 12-17-2008 09:38 AM

Bump for Gee ess

gee_ess 12-17-2008 04:00 PM

Thanks! I am a latecomer to the show but a fan.

Unregistered- 02-04-2009 03:15 PM

So it's on after American Idol and I'm just getting hooked to this show. It's gross as hell, but so addicting!

I don't know why I know this, but one of the Executive Producers was the singing voice for Aladdin in the movie.

BetteDavisEyes 02-05-2009 01:38 AM

I love Walter. He's hilarious and comes up with the most off the wall comments during serious moments.
Mike is in serious lust with Anna Torv. ;)

Walter is fantastic. And I must say I don't mind watching Joshua Jackson all grown up either. :)

KDAngel 02-13-2009 01:58 PM

This week was definitely interesting by way of the overall story-line.

Wonder what in the world Walter has to do with that crazy book too. Did he write it?

gee_ess 02-13-2009 05:09 PM

What's with the promo info that said the next new episodes would air in APRIL?! Yikes! I don't want to wait a month and a half for new episodes!

I think he did and only just realized it. Poor Walter. :(

I too freaked when I saw the show won't come back until April. WTH?!?

The red-haired Massive Dynamic lady creeps me out with her hand.

Can't remember what else I've seen do this lately, but there are a few shows that are going away for 2months right now. No fun. :(

BetteDavisEyes 04-26-2009 09:20 PM

Is anyone still watching?

This last episode was a good one. They're really starting to delve more into Olivia's past as a child but I wish they'd bring back the topic of her father & why she's so afraid of him.

KDAngel 05-12-2009 03:04 AM

So I'm pretty sure Walter's not going to be killed off the show, but I sure don't like seeing that creepy guy coming and telling him it's "his time."

BetteDavisEyes 05-21-2009 12:52 AM

Kirk Acevedo, aka Agent Charlie Frances has been fired from the show. :(

I was going to eventually get on here and say that. Kind of bummed. He was a solid person for that part as far as I'm concerned.
