Cancelled shows you still make a point to watch in syndication

Gilmore Girls. It comes on ABC family every weekday at 4:00, so if I get out of class at 3:30, you can bet I'm hustling my cute butt home so I don't miss a second, even though I've seen every episode several times. I can't wait for them to pick up season 7. I hope they do soon!

33girl 08-27-2008 05:27 PM

WKRP in Cincinnati - Sunday at 7 on WGN.

nittanyalum 08-27-2008 05:36 PM

I'm not consistent with these, but when I run across one, it makes me soooo happy:

Sex and the City
Everybody Loves Raymond

sometimes:
King of Queens

I saw the title of this thread and instantly thought "Gilmore Girls"

ZTAngel 08-27-2008 05:46 PM

Friends. I think I've seen each episode at least 20 times (some episodes more than that) and I still laugh the same way as I did the first time I saw it.

Used to DVR Buffy the Vampire Slayer reruns, until FX finally stopped airing them this summer.

M*A*S*H
Little House on the Prairie
Lost in Space

tnxbutterfly 08-28-2008 09:52 PM

Melrose Place- Gotta love Soapnet for airing two episodes in the morning. Right now they are airing the season where, Kyle and Taylor moved into the complex, Craig started to work at D&D, Jake and Allison were a couple, and Jane was still shook up about being raped by Richard.

The O.C.

I was wondering if I was missing some episodes here and there. I have a feeling that this will be one box set I will end up purchasing.

Yeah...i started noticing it over the summer. There are some seasons that I know by heart, and I can tell you the order of the episodes. So I remember thinking "this episodes doesn't come after this one." It bugged me too cause i'd be waiting for a certain episode to come on, and it never did!

TNT does the same thing with the ER episodes that they run. The ones I know of include the episodes with Forest Whitaker guest starring.

PinkRose1098 08-29-2008 10:48 AM

Star Trek: Voyager

I'm getting really annoyed with TNT because they are running old episodes of CSI in the time slot that Voyager should be coming on. Ugh! Just give me my Star Trek. I'm just going to have to buy the box set and not worry about trying to catch it on tv.

Do you get TVOne? I thought they showed it on there.

Oh, and does anyone else have RTN - Retro TV Network? They play old crime dramas from the 1970s, Knight Rider, all sorts of stuff. It is the awesomest thing that has happened in a while. :)

JAG
SportsNight

and Scrubs. I know it has not been cancelled yet, but I only seem to watch it in reruns on Comedy Central.

knight_shadow 08-29-2008 11:17 AM

On my "break" between summer 2 classes and fall classes, I got sucked into:

All of Us
Half and Half
One on One
What I Like About You
King of Queens
According to Jim

I normally watch Golden Girls (yea, yea, I know...), Cosby, Martin, and Living Single.

Scully 08-29-2008 12:27 PM

I miss Gilmore Girls terribly! I also try to catch reruns of SATC, King of Queens, Everybody Loves Raymond, and Beverly Hills 90210 on Soapnet.

no "yeah yeah i know," that show is the bestest.

does anyone remember when TBS used to run all their programming on every :05 and :35? it would throw me the hayle off in trying to get to class in the AM. couldnt go to school without an SBTB fix.

i try to watch Boy Meets World when it comes on (it used to a lot on the Disney Channel). it makes me very nostalgic.

LaneSig 08-29-2008 04:37 PM

Half and Half
Third Watch (when I can find it)
Newsradio (I own all the dvds)

No, but I wish we did. Reruns of Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew AND The Greatest American Hero? Sigh, why did we ever move out of Pittsburgh?

I **Love** SN. Did ya know the 10th  Anniversary Edition DVD box set comes out at the end of September? With all sorts of extras like gag reels, commentaries AND the ESPN Sportscenter guys talking about the show?

SN taught me why you can't sing Happy Birthday on the air, how not to defrost a turkey, why it shouldn't rain at Indian Wells, why you must stay far away from Thespis, why I should care about Philo Farnsworth, and that the phrase"quo vadimus" makes me teary eyed. To this day I can't stand to watch anything with Teri Polo because of how Rebecca treated Danny. Yes, 10 years later and I'm still invested in this show. It was THAT GOOD.

"Anybody who can't make money off of Sports Night should get out of the money-making business." Indeed!

AOII_LB93 08-29-2008 04:59 PM

If it was ever on I would totally sit through every episode of The Wonder Years.

Other shows that I like:
*Cosby Show
*Little House on the Prairie (Man, Nellie Olsen was a b****, and on the LHotP note when I was a little kid and watched it, I asked my mom if she rode to school in a covered wagon and carried her lunch in a pail. She was probably horrified, but what 6 year old really has a concept of how long ago that was? It was on TV after all.)
*I dream of Jeannie
*Bewitched
*Voltron
*Press your luck - I so wanted to be on that show when I was about 8.

Hon, I don't even know what TVOne is. I know they do show 227 somewhere out there though. Don't get me started on the CONcast we're forced to have. They just pulled our Oxygen and the local Jamaican news network...we are paying the same amount so...NOT HAPPY.

ROFLMAO! Kids really do say the darnedest things.

Nellie was actually a b*tch in real life if you've ever read the book. Of course not to the extent of the fictional Nellie. Strangely, Laura ran into Nellie again after moving from Walnut Grove out in South Dakota and she hadn't changed much except I think her father was not doing so great in business anymore.
