Fall TV line up
 

Well the Olympics are over, the air is a bit cooler, the sun is taking it's sweet time rising in the morning and in some places, the kids are back in school.

In less than 2 weeks, New England gets to prove that they are the best 18 and 1 team in the NFL and soon some of us will be breaking out sweaters.

Yup....it's fall....

Gosh I will hate Mondays!! MNF, Heroes, 2.5 men et al will ALL be on the same night...my DVR can't take it!

I really dont watch much tv, but I am looking forward to the new season of Greek!
Is summer really over? Not in Mississippi! lol It will be in the 90's this weekend and we'll all be glued to the weather channel tracking Hurricane Gustav. :(

I guess I'm just thrilled that a TV show that didn't return after the stupid writers strike ended is actually returning this fall, just on a different time.

I'm looking forward to Terminator (can a terminator be destroyed by a car bomb? Plus, will Brian Austin Green still be in the show?), One Tree Hill (I'm dying to know who Lucas called), ANTM (god I love this show :D), Ugly Betty (I think she went to Europe by herself though b/c both actors who played her suitors aren't returning, at least that is what I read online), Desperate Housewives (going to be interesting seeing Gabby all frumpy with 2 kids 5 years later) and The Unit (this one didn't return after the strike).

I'm also really looking forward to the midseason new show Dollhouse (God Bless you Joss Whedon!!!!!)

And of course Greek!

DH, Grey's and Brothers and Sisters. They are the only ones I care about. All my other favorites were canceled: Cashmere Mafia, Women's Murder Club, and Men in Trees. I would boycott ABC if my other 3 faves weren't also on ABC <sigh>

I'll probably give 90210 a try too. It'll be interesting to see Shannan and Jennie reprise their roles. I read somewhere that Nat was still going to be "there". That would be pretty cool!

I could have sworn I read somewhere about Rebecca Romign (totally spelled her last name wrong) that either A) she wasn't going to be doing the full season (like she wanted to quit) or/and B) that her pregnancy wouldn't be added (which considering it's not like with a sex change operation that they can grow a uterus, fallopian tubes and eggs and "transplant" them into what was a male body :rolleyes: although if it were a soap opera it would probably be plausible :D)

Awww, we just started watching The Unusuals! There's only been like, 7 episodes...is that why it didn't air this week?

Prison Break surprises me....I thought that was one of FOX's big shows?

some of the stuff they are canceling SciFi needs to pick up so they can scale back on the corny shows...

I'm surprised ABC cancelled Samantha Who...they don't have any good half hour comedies.

^^^Here's hoping someone else picks it up. ABC said it was due to cost, but um...WTF? It's can't be that expensive and enough people are watching it. I love having Tim Russ on my TV every week. I need my post-Tuvok fix (even though he esentially plays a similarly unemotional character).

I like Dollhouse if that counts as SciFi? lol. I was nervous about how it would do in a Friday spot.

Im still trying to get into it...problem is I am beginning to think that The Powers That Be don't give people enough time to get into shows, because there has been a lot of good shows that somehow haven't made it 2 or 3 seasons if the ratings 'dip' ever so slightly.

and the good ones that last are the ones that go 5 years and go out while they are still fresh.

My shows always seem to get canceled pretty early on. It's really disappointing and yet I always find new shows that I like lol. I never learn... I did not expect dollhouse to be back but I am really happy that it was. The season finale was good.

i think scifi has started running moonlight episodes
now they just need to put out a new season!

Ugh, just looked at the fall TV grid and I'm not going to have any shows to watch on Tuesday or Wednesdays. :( Guess I have to hang my hope on something decent on Bravo, TLC, or the CW. I'm annoyed that some of my shows are being moved around to new times/days, too (Big Bang Theory, Heroes, Medium, Ugly Betty)...thank goodness for DVR!

What really irks me about Fox cancelling Sarah Connor, why the hell did they wait until NOW to tell us, when the SEASON finale was like 5-6 weeks ago and it was just that a SEASON finale!!!!!!!! Why couldn't those morons at Fox have made the decision and then instead we would have gotton a series finale!!!

(Sorry just really needed to vent that)

Plus, why the heck did they keep Dollhouse? What is that crap about?

I really, really hope T4 does well in the theaters and then Fox is like "hmm maybe we should have kept that show".

I hope that some other station picks it up, but I highly doubt it. I hate these stupid studio execs who keep craptastic shows (i.e. all the stupidly retarded reality shows) and cancel all the good stuff.

I am mad that Kings is no where on NBC's line up although the website says it comes on again June.....?

This show on NBC looks good, at least a good cast.....Parenthood

Fox does this crap all the time. I am still bitter about John Doe, and that was YEARS ago.
