being that I've been a follower of Making the Band since Da Band was formed...I naturally followed this LOL

It's very interesting like a cool 'Apprentice', I think Kim is being kept for drama solely and the fat white dude is in there for the same reason

I think the downtown team folks is stronger though.

Definitely just there for drama purposes.

Kim has drive but lacks the humbleness that Diddy's assistant needs. You can't be a 24/7 umbrella carrier and be as bold and brazen(sp) as she is. Maybe she'll get humble while she's pledging Diddy despite how crass she is as an aspirant.

Question: Wasn't a winner already chosen? I'm pretty positive I saw Diddy make his choice between the top three candidates on Oprah a while back. :confused:

Anyone wanting to work for Diddy is absolutely crazy themself.

I love Kim. She will get the job done.

But she needs to calm herself though...I'm sure she doesn't have too many more times she can call her competition stupid b/c if she was as experienced and smart as she claims to be...she wouldn't be on a tv show trying to become someone's assistant with the rest of 'em...just my thoughts...

The worst part of hiding his experience was disagreeing with one of the panelists who pointed out the flaws of their "effort". You should be confident and stand by your work, but telling Capricorn that his team "smashed" the task was ignorantly cocky.

The backpedaling later was hilarious. First, you have YEARS of advertising experience. Now, you're arse is on the chopping block, and suddenly you're "just an assistant". I'm glad dude is gone.

Be real: would the show be as fun without Kim? Except I don't appreciate her making fun of Laverne crying. But maybe Kim can do that because she's already cried twice. :rolleyes:

The show wouldn't be as fun without Kim.

I think she'll be there until the end but she won't win. It would be too obvious if she wins. It's just like New York on FOL. She's there until the end for the drama effect. But she won't win.

I think she didn't see it as a sambo. I think she honestly didn't know what the reference was because she might live a very sheltered life.

BUT(!) that shows a weakness in her thinking and ability to relate. If she could make that faux pas in her presentation without knowing her audience, how many other times could she make that error in future presentations with different audiences? You never know who she's gonna offend. :(

I'm so glad it wrapped up the way it did. Suzanne was on the radio here in Atlanta (like she's been before), and she gave a lot of insight...like they didn't really fly off to Cannes with Diddy. She said she didn't have her passport on her anyway. LOL

That was a good show, and I could stand another season of it. "Making the Band" - not so much. :p

But I wonder of what's to become of Suzanne and Mike?

they've been bit by the Diddy bug...that's never ended well...

and I hollered at Kim's rant after she got fired....why'd you get on the show in the first place if you never intended to work FOR him?
