 Auburn

I drove down to Auburn at the last minute and the chapter was incredibly excited about their NM's. It was amazing to witness and it brought back many memories of my own about getting quota plus after a few (in my case MANY) dry years! I was oddly choked up thoughout the "Squeal Day." Maybe my nerves are getting to me about the other recruitments I have my hands in!
	 |

Congratulations to fine young ladies at Auburn! It's great to see our chapter thriving in the South!
	 |

Georgia Tech Bid day is tomorrow! I will post as soon as I hear. Let's keep our fingers crossed they have great results like last year!
	 |

Congratulations to our fabulous new members at Georgia Tech. Quota +5! 50 great new baby Xi's!!:D

According to their website Univ. of Iowa got 14 new members.
Are there any other updates that anyone knows about? |

Not yet - all the chapters I am pretty close with are this week and next week.
I'm trying to find out how Theta Sigma did....I'm interested to see how they did after T.S. Fay. |

These updates are so exciting! It makes me so psyche to volunteer with the Fraternity.
I hope to see pics of our new members! |

 More results...

Sigma welcomed 14 new members !!!
Delta Chi 11 new lovely gals !!! Both chapters are already working on more new sisters :) |

 Meet and Greet at SPSU!

I wanted to share this picture that I yanked from facebook...It's from Meet and Greet at SPSU, last Wednesday. This night is basically like recruitment orientation - both chapters and all PNMs mix and mingle together. The sheer number of women in this picture just blows my mind.
http://photos-g.ak.facebook.com/phot...61478_7613.jpg Last night was Info night. Tonight is philanthropy, and tomorrow is preference, with Bid Day on Thursday! I CAN'T WAIT! |

How wonderful that things have grown so much for SPSU - can't wait to hear results!
	 |

Congrats on all the new members!

Iota Delta hands out bids tonight. If they are all accepted we will have 38 new members. Quota was 35 and we have 3 quota additions. This will be the largest new member class since the colony class. It will also put us over total for the first time. We exceeded our wildest dreams by out-doing all the other long established groups. And we moved into our own home this fall! Go Iota Delta!
	 |

whoo hooo .. congratulations to Iota Delta chapter!!
	 |

Delta Kappa here at SRU had their first informational meeting tonight. 23 bid cards were disbursed and 19 pnm's signed! and it was only our first info meeting, there is still a lot more to come! this is going to be the biggest new member class our chapter has ever had!!!

The Theta Phi Chapter at UAB is in the middle of perfection week and we are working hard. We were informed today that there are 122 ladies signed up for recruitment so far and the deadline is friday and even then you can sign up with a late fee I believe until wednesday when they meet with their gamma chis. 122 is HUGE for UAB. We had to add another party to the first night and our advisor was like...wow...we were only prepared to take 25 (cause thats a lot for any chapter at UAB)...so now we are preparing for the possibility of much larger quotas (there's only 4 sororities at UAB). Hopefully this will lead to total increases and a bigger greek system at UAB.

Bid Day for Iota Theta is today...They are getting 8 fabulous new Baby Xi's! This is the best recruitment they've had as far as preparation and execution, and the second largest new member class they've had (the colony class was the only one that was bigger) and for the first time, the chapter has TWENTY members! They've got a COB list to start working on of over 20 women. I'll have pictures posted later today - I'm going to bid day to play photographer for them. :)

 WEST GA - ZETA OMEGA
according to a text message i just got, Quota was 27, and Alpha Xi Delta took 33! |

UAB starts recruitment on thursday. As of yesterday there were 159 confirmed signed up to go through recruitment.
	 |

 Congratulations to Zeta Omega!
I expect great things from them.;) |

I have updated Zeta Omega's results - from what I understand, I guess panhellenic allowed then to get the 6 more NMs (quota plus 12!) because those 6 girls completed the process, didnt drop, were on bid lists, etc....I dont know the exact reasoning, but Zeta Omega now has 39 new members!
	 |

 yay!!

UAB starts recruitment today with the most girls ever coming through!!! We are so excited! And we may be the only chapter not double recruiting but Im not sure. i cant wait to tell you about our new baby fuzzies!!!

I hope nobody went bidless due to a computer glitch! Whether it's and A Xi bid or another chapter- those poor PNM! How stressed out they must have been. Hope it all works out for everyone. Personally, nobody should go bidless in my perfect world :)

12 girls who went through the process correctly at West GA went bidless even though they preffed. Because quota additions were so high they capped it (obviously not just impacting AZD). Now, I am NOT a recruitment specialist and I certainly don't know the inner workings of UWG recruitment, but I cannot understand how a PNM could go through all that recruitment stuff, go to pref, and not get a bid even though they did not mismatch and did everything right. It baffles me that Panhellenic allowed that, those girls must have been heart broken....imagine that phone call to mom....especially the savvy ones!!
The good news, it is my understanding is that all 12 girls have been picked up by the chapters they wanted or snapped by others, which is fantastic! I'm glad UWG did the right thing, no matter where the PNM ended up. |

THANK THE LORD ALL PNM found a home! Even if snapped by someone other than their first choice, they will surely come to love their GLO.
	 |

Alpha Xi Delta at Jacksonville State took 21 girls and are COBing 4 more is what one of our advisors told me tonight that is also their advisor
