Are you going to add the new colony at FIU? Though I'm not sure how the process works for colonies.

SigKapSweetie 08-15-2008 09:05 AM

Going up to Beta Tau tomorrow! I'm so excited for recruitment to start - next year I'll be a real doctor and won't be able to drop everything and head to Gville for a week, so I intend to thoroughly enjoy it this year!

BetteDavisEyes 08-18-2008 09:46 PM

UGA Epsilon Epsilon - Quota 58. SK took 61. :)

shadden 08-18-2008 11:11 PM

UGA rush

I went for prefs at UGA, and they had a great group of girls coming through. Nine of the 61 pledged were legacies.

Question: do we like the simplicity of this format, or would you all prefer irishpipes-style? As in, I could copy and paste the results for all the chapters, location, recruitment dates, etc. from irishpipes' thread at each campus where Sigma Kappa has a chapter.

ufdale 08-24-2008 10:16 PM

SigKapSweetie! I'm sad that I couldn't stay and talk to you last weekend!! I had wanted to come for the alum thing, but I took my guy friend to campus and they wouldn't let him in the house. I didn't think I could ditch him for a whole afternoon. Did you stay the whole week?

SigKapSweetie 08-24-2008 10:22 PM

Yes, I was there from last Saturday until the bid lists came out today. I stayed in my GGL sister's room, since she was a Pi Chi and gone until tonight. It was a crazy, sleepless, wonderful week, and I'm so glad I could go!

OneHeartOneWay 08-25-2008 04:18 PM

Fantastic job to these wonderful Sigma Kappas!

Just wondering, is this a situation where Alpha Delta would have been under total after making quota and Panhellenic just matched extra PNMs with them or did they snap bid/CR? I've never heard of so many QAs for a quota that size! It's fantastic either way!

My source told me that they received the largest pledge class of any sorority on campus. I'll ask her though.

melsigkap 09-09-2008 03:15 AM

Kappa Theta (Saint Louis University) got 42 amazing girls on Sunday!!! We couldn't be happier :)

joliebelle 09-12-2008 09:33 AM

sorry for the crash...

I just found out that one of my high school friend's is a new Sigma Kappa at Berkley! She is a wonderful girl and I knew that she would make a great sorority woman

SigKapCoug 09-14-2008 04:52 PM

Mu took 43 - quota plus 11.

Alpha Gamma extended 9 informal bids, so our pledge class is now 42.

OneHeartOneWay 09-16-2008 09:05 AM

It has to be uploaded to a photo-sharing site, like picasa, webshots, flickr, photobucket, etc. From there, there will be code to share in a forum.

OneHeartOneWay 10-01-2008 11:11 AM

Zeta Alpha

Zeta Alpha matched quota of 9 women on Sunday, and as none of the chapters are at total (30), they have already welcomed in a few other NMs, as well.

BabyPiNK_FL 10-06-2008 01:22 AM

I do not have a number to be honest and I haven't heard much but that's probably cos my chapter was doing big/lil this past week, but I do have pictures. And I'm proud to report my friend Katie also made it into the new chapter-to-be @ FIU! I am proud to have been apart of the Panhellenic that began the process and it has finally come to fruition! Welcome and congrats!

ETA: I've seen the number 80 floating on facebook, but we all know that that can and will change really soon! Campus total is 70 and average size is probably around the low 100.

ETA: And from what I can see on facebook they are bonding like CRAZY! They apparently have a NM meeting on Tuesday and are ready to wear their new shirts to the mall to search for flat white shoes! :D
If I see any more pics I will post. I'm soo excited for them and love expanison!
