Fall 2008 Recruitment Results
With Fall semester just around the corner, it's time to start the recruitment results thread! The chapters in maroon have a fall formal recruitment. The chapters in lavender have a spring formal recruitment, but may be participating in informal recruitment. Please report results if applicable. And of course, please correct any mistakes I have made. Quota is reported for some, but Sigma Kappa's numbers are bolded.

|
Going up to Beta Tau tomorrow! I'm so excited for recruitment to start - next year I'll be a real doctor and won't be able to drop everything and head to Gville for a week, so I intend to thoroughly enjoy it this year!

|
UGA rush
I went for prefs at UGA, and they had a great group of girls coming through. Nine of the 61 pledged were legacies.
|
Question: do we like the simplicity of this format, or would you all prefer irishpipes-style? As in, I could copy and paste the results for all the chapters, location, recruitment dates, etc. from irishpipes' thread at each campus where Sigma Kappa has a chapter.

SigKapSweetie! I'm sad that I couldn't stay and talk to you last weekend!! I had wanted to come for the alum thing, but I took my guy friend to campus and they wouldn't let him in the house. I didn't think I could ditch him for a whole afternoon. Did you stay the whole week?
|
Yes, I was there from last Saturday until the bid lists came out today. I stayed in my GGL sister's room, since she was a Pi Chi and gone until tonight. It was a crazy, sleepless, wonderful week, and I'm so glad I could go!

Zeta Alpha
Zeta Alpha matched quota of 9 women on Sunday, and as none of the chapters are at total (30), they have already welcomed in a few other NMs, as well.
|
I do not have a number to be honest and I haven't heard much but that's probably cos my chapter was doing big/lil this past week, but I do have pictures. And I'm proud to report my friend Katie also made it into the new chapter-to-be @ FIU! I am proud to have been apart of the Panhellenic that began the process and it has finally come to fruition! Welcome and congrats!
http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i6..._FL/skappa.jpg ETA: I've seen the number 80 floating on facebook, but we all know that that can and will change really soon! Campus total is 70 and average size is probably around the low 100. ETA: And from what I can see on facebook they are bonding like CRAZY! They apparently have a NM meeting on Tuesday and are ready to wear their new shirts to the mall to search for flat white shoes! :D If I see any more pics I will post. I'm soo excited for them and love expanison! |
