Hi All!!!
I know that Colorado School of the Mines made quota (only 11 because not many women go to the school) All 3 groups Sigma Kappa, Pi Phi and A Phi made quota but we did it in style -cutting heavily for quality!! East Carolina made quota as well. Other chapters rushing now App State, MIT started today. I know a lot of California schools start soon. Best of luck to all Phi's!!! |
Oh I almost forgot one very important rush result - at Arizona we pledged quota but even more importantly the grand daughter of our former international president and past foundation chair Nancy Devoe!
It is always an honor to Alpha Phi when we can pledge a leg but to pledge one of a women who has done so much for the fraternity is extra special. |
Thanks for the report APhiGal! I love hearing all this positive A-Phi news.
Other Phis around the country: join the roundup! Tell us how you did! Congrats to Colorado School of Mines, East Carolina, and Arizona! Alpha Phi is the one to be! Jen |
Hi! I know that WSU made quota plus 4
And Washburn made quota. So that means every A Phi chapter that has had FR so far has made quota (that I know of) Woohooo!!! |
Hooray for Alpha Phi! This is super! Thanks for sharing APhiGal!
Alpha Phi ROCKS the US and Canada! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D |
Lost posts...
A number of the results posted here from A-Phis around the country were lost due to the problems GC experienced.
I recall that someone posted the following results... --> University of Colorado at Boulder made quota + some. --> University of Southern California made quota. I believe there were quite a few other results... If you posted results here before, please come back and remind us what you had said. :) Alpha Phi Love, APP |

On another note, I've never heard of a quota so low as one! I am glad to hear more girls are going through recruitment this year and that seven of them are Alpha Phis! ;-) BTW, how many groups are on campus? Do you know how many total women went through rush at UM? Just curious. Thanks for sharing Stacey! Alpha Phi Love, Jen |

Looking for a report from...
"SilverIvy"
An Alpha Phi lady whose handle is "SilverIvy" had posted her chapter's quota story here. I can't remember what chapter she was from though. I do know they made quota (++). SilverIvy, if you read this, remind us of your great news! AOE, Jen |
Great job!
Congrats to all the Alpha Phi chapters that have done so fabulously in recruitment--and there are a lot of them! I am proud to be an Alpha Phi! :)

UCLA-Phis
Hey Laura--how'd Alpha Phi at UCLA do? UCLA is my Dad's alma mater, so I have a particular curiosity. Let us know when you have a chance. :)
AOE, Jen |
Beta Delta Results
Well my friends, Beta Delta, UCLA was my last fall rushing chapter (not to mention my chapter). I am proud to report that they did amazing in formal rush! Quota was 27 and Alpha Phi pledged 31! All but one chapter on campus pledged quota and that chapter came very close (-5). I am so happy for the UCLA greek system! GO BRUINS! Okay, I know that's a little excessive Bruin pride showing through but I am so happy to end the fall formal rush season on such a positive note.
Hope all is well! Laura |
Excellent!
Laura: Thanks for the post on the UCLA-Phis! Way to go Bruins! :) Congrats to them and to you--you're obviously doing an amazing job out there in the Southwest.
I am curious about the Greek system at UCLA. My Dad wasn't a fraternity man when he was at UCLA and doesn't know anything about it. Is it a major Greek campus? Thanks again for all of your fantastic info on the California/Southwest Alpha Phi scene. It's been great hearing all the positive news! :) AOE, Jen |
