It's okay...it's going to take some getting used to.

I like that there are more visible options when posting, like editing text...but the color scheme is working my eyes a little too much.

I LOVE IT THAT CRIMSON IS A COLOR CHOICE!!!!

I also love the Buddy List feature as well that my AOL IM name and Yahoo Name can be displayed in my profiles.

My peev about the old system was that I had to go into a thread, just to get to the end and read recent posts...now, I don't have to do all that!

I am definitely feeling the new GC software. I must admit it will take me a minute to figure out all the ins and outs, but it's pretty cool. :cool: One thing though that I am not feeling is the time. The time use to be in EST, now it's in GMT. Can someone tell me what time is GMT, I think it's mountain, but I am not sure. I just want to know so that I can keep up with what time stuff was posted. ;)

I replied yesterday in AKA forum how you can change the time and John Hammell did as well.

Ok, I like the new GC, but it looks like it's going to take some getting used to.

I guess that means I'll be over here playing all day! :cool:

Yeah thanks CT4, I finally just saw your and John's reply a few minutes ago, so my time has been changed, and I am rolling with the new facelift for sure!!

Yes, i have been having problems posting under the new vB board, which is weird, b/c I am on another MB that uses the same code.

i don't really care for this new forum. maybe it is because i haven't gotten the hang of it or what. and i was unable to get on the site for quite some time.

HOWDY FOLKS,

Now there is another way of knowing if you have a PM -- pop up windows are now available.

IF you do NOT want to have the POP UP WINDOW -- it can be turned off.

IF you DO WANT to have the POP UP WINDOW -- it can be turned on. :D

Just wanted to make you all aware that this has been done.

I believe that the PM storage holds a maximum of 70 including SENT PMs -- please keep your storage clean so when people try to send you a PM they are not rejected. :p :D

Hmmmmmmmmmmm. Were you talking to me????? I had to turn off the Pop-up because EVERYTIME I signed on it popped up and said I had a PM when I didn't. I prefer getting the notice via email--at least it has been reliable and it even let me know me that my Inbox was full! :D :p

How do I get the upgrade? I don't think I have it.:( :confused:

to activate your pop ups:

1) click on usercp @ the top of the page or go here: http://greekchat.com/gcforums/member...on=editoptions

2) click on edit options

3) under "Messages & Notifications" you'll see an option asking if you want a pop up when you receive a PM. set that to YES.

4) save your changes

FYI, for like maybe the past 2 weeks, e-mail notices about PMs and replies to subscribed threads were not going forth due to glitches.

For those of you who do not get PMs very often, check to make sure that you do not have PMs by either going to bottom of Main Index page or checking your USER CP. :D

There are a few folks I sent PMs to ages ago who have yet to read them, but have been on GC. Maybe they igging me :( :confused: LOL

Now why would anyone want to igg you out? Nah, mine works when it wants to. Sometimes it gives me a pop-up and sometimes it doesn't...go figure.:confused:
