I hear you, Professor. I'm so...overwhelmed. Wow! There are so many new features. I like that you can be updated on threads. These changes will definitely make GC even more addictive. I just need to figure it all out.

:cool: I am rather excited about this change as well. I didn't know, however, that the page had moved. You see, I have the AKA page bookmarked on my PC. It wasn't until I tried to get in through the main page that I found out about this joint. If they could do better at the referrals, the good people of GreekChat would get my complete stamp of approval!

Ok, I'm just trying to see if I'm doing the color right. This is definitely going to take some getting used to. But I'm diggin the new look.

I am going to LOVE being able to change the colors I type in!!! This is AWESOME!!! :D

See, I'm going to be playing with this instead of doing my job search stuff. Let me go right now. Lawd. The last thing any of us needed was some NEW GC stuff to get addicted to. This is so live, lmao!!!

I am just able to get into GC, and I'm am also loving this new GC. There are so many new functions, and I am really digging the colors. :D

The only thing that I am not feeling is the time. I am use to all times being in EST. So can someone tell me whose time is GMT?http://www.contrabandent.com/pez/con...ackeye/lol.gif

It's new. I wish they'd fix the clock!

You can change the time of your GC clock to reflect your time zone
 

Hey Everyone, when I went to edit my profile. I changed it to reflect my time zone. It will still be the GMT but look for your zone, i.e. Eastern so GC is posted in my real time as well.

GMT is just the forum default, you can customize the times that you see on the site by going into your user contol panel (click on the "user cp" icon at the top of pages), then click on the "edit options" link - and on that page there is a pull down menu labeled "Time offset" where you can configure the forums to display in your local timezone.

Here's a direct link to the edit options page:

EST is GMT -5. Once I figure out how to set the default time for the entire forums I'm going to set it as EST. Your custom settings will overide this if you have it set for a different timezone.

I'm really liking this too...so many options it's like being in a candy store. I was starting to go into greekchat withdrawl...they must have heard our cries for a newer version of Greekchat. ;)

I must say i was a bit :confused: ovewhelmed :confused: by the new buttons, and it took me a while to figure out that the link had changed and thats, But I think that I've got the hang of it now... and now my rose has colors... yippie... my signature is now complete...I give it a grand 2 thumbs up... :D :) :cool:

It took a little while for Dirty Mike to log on, however, I like the new format.

One complaint: We appear to be the only org unable to respond in color. Apparently, our beloved fraternal colors have been designated as sacred by GC.

I like what you did Kell1; I'm still tryin' to understand your code, and where to find it on this page.

This is giving me the inspiration to actually go ahead and learn all those features you other GC's have down packed!!

Hopefully this comes out right. I see alot of editing in my future until I get the hang of things!:D
