Wonderful link Sorhor,

Thanks for sharing - I want to go but I'm finishing up with my last two classes for my second masters in library media specialist so I will have to view the wonderful pictures and hear the news from sorhors that attended the boule.

Serioussigma22:)

tld221 07-11-2008 03:07 AM

i wont be there either! :cries into blue and gold tissues:

jojapeach 07-11-2008 12:48 PM

I'm so envious of everyone that's going. I even met a cool group of sorors from Detroit at the National Founders Observance in Atlanta that wanted me to come back and hang with them. I love those old school "live for the blue die for the gold" sorors!

*crying on tld221's shoulder and blowing into blue and gold tissues* (You didn't need that back, right?)

Prhototype22 07-11-2008 01:07 PM

I'm going. Yay! It'll be my first Boule, and I'm both excited and nervous. I'll bring back pictures. I promise.:)

SeriousSigma22 07-11-2008 01:27 PM

Thanks sorhor and have lots of fun for all of us that won't make it there this year.:)

You know you just described our Soror SeriousSigma22! Soror we need to rhoad trip again!! Not making it to Detroit, sorors I feel soooo left out this year. I am doing way too much!! I'm working 2 jobs and working on 2 master degrees at the same time (it just happened that way) and preparing my oldest son for college next year. I need some of them blue and gold tissues myself!

I feel better now. :)

Well, at least I can celebrate the centennial here in DC of our sisters of 1908!!! Greek Unity march next week!!! (I will take pictures. :))

Can't wait to see the pics!

SeriousSigma22 07-12-2008 05:29 PM

Sorhor Bluereign,

When and where do you want to go for our nexting outing? Thanks for the Sigma 'Shout out' - 25 years in Sigma is a wonderful thing May 7, Spr. 83.

Serioussigma22:)

jojapeach 07-12-2008 07:59 PM

^^^ Congrats on 25 years in Sigma!!! You're my hero. :) I have 3 years before I make it to 10.

@ Bluereign: We're looking forward to pics from the unity march. It might not be my sorority, but I'm excited for the AKAs, too. A 100 year celebration will probably be everything you would expect and so much more.

For the sorors going to Boule in Detroit, we will need some pictures, ladies.

I had a great time and I'm sad that I could not have stayed the entire time. I did get to meet and talk with Dr. Ian Smith...he's so intelligent and good looking! I meet lots of really nice and quite accomplished Sorors and if nothing else they inspired me to get "moving." I believe that my experiences has trully broaden my thinking in reguards to the sisterhood and I'm glad that I had the opportunity to see something magnificant.

Well if he isn't identical it's quite alright because I think Detroit must have the most gorgeous Iota's I've ever seen...as a matter of fact I'm thinking about relocating...j/k...maybe. Dr. Smith wasn't the only eye candy running around, I'm so glad my parents trained me to be upstanding. LOL

Prhototype22 07-24-2008 06:00 PM

Why isn't there a *tears of joy* smilie? I had a WONDERFUL time at Boule, and I'm glad I went! I'm a neo, so I was completely overwhelmed in more ways than one.

I did take pictures, as promised, but I basically stepped off the plane and into the newsroom at work today. I haven't even had time to unpack! As soon as I get the photos uploaded to my computer, I'll post them here for you all to see (and laugh at because I am not nearly the best photographer around).

Congratulations to you and Alpha Eta Sigma! My chapter won in '06, and I know Alpha Eta Sigma must have done some amazing work (and documentation) to earn that award.

Excellent website, too.

SeriousSigma22 07-25-2008 01:20 PM

Congrats to Alpha Eta Sigma for winning that coveted award, national Mary Lou Allison Loving Cup Award.

jojapeach 07-25-2008 02:18 PM

rhoyaltempest 07-25-2008 05:35 PM

Thanks sorors! And I've never been to the West Coast either so Boule 2010 here I come!
