Big Brother: Season 10

Starts THIS Sunday at 8 p.m..

I can't wait! :D

SthrnZeta 07-07-2008 02:24 PM

Oh Em Gee!!!! I am so there!

jitterbug13 07-07-2008 04:38 PM

Has anyone heard the rumors of fans vs. favorites for this season?

KDAngel 07-08-2008 08:50 AM

I've heard a lot of things, but no idea what's actually true or not.

KDAngel 07-08-2008 01:20 PM

4 people from CA... wonder if there are any connections there.

TrojanWoman 07-08-2008 03:06 PM

I'm so excited! I'm leaving to go out of town for a week on Sunday morning so I'll have to remember to record it!

jitterbug13 07-08-2008 07:43 PM

Pictures of the cast and the house are now up:

I'm surprised at the amount of older house guests this season. I have a feeling Jerry (the older guy) will be the Chicken George of BB10. And Ollie and Jessie look like they are going to be some nice eye candy. :D

polarpi 07-12-2008 08:26 PM

So ready for this season after the winter edition (yes, I watched  )

Yay for my "guilty pleasure" TV!

ilddd3 07-13-2008 09:26 PM

Okay, so I thought the first episode was pretty boring. Anyone else?

AXi1257 07-13-2008 10:06 PM

Kind of dull, but give it some time and there will be drama!

It was the first episode -- what do you expect? I think it was decent enough at establishing a few relationships and what not.

P.S. That Nola lady was insane...

I thought the insane lady was Renny. She was just plain strange. "I hope everyone likes me" and then finds out she is one of the first 2 put up on the block. My prediction is that she will win POV, and then go on to win the entire thing. The people I hate the most always save themselves and then win.

Gosh I feel so out of pocket. I have been moving and my cable will not be turned on until next wednesday. I was able to catch the last 10 minutes last night....when you all said there were more older people..I wasn't anticipating that old..but I think I like the Jerry guy....anyhoo, I will be able to contribute more when I am actually able to watch an episode....hum....I forgot about on demand....going to the boyfriend's house...:o:p:D

I took KDAngel's "Nola" reference to be where Renny's from (NO, LA - New Orleans :))

I really hope she's one of the first one's gone, and did anyone else immediately think of Daniele from BB8 when they showed Keesha?

ZTABullwinkle 07-14-2008 10:50 PM

Winner of the POV (Highlight)It appears that Jerry has won the power of veto,

Looks like Jesse's nomination has been vetoed and Brian is up as the replacement.

Apparently Jerry heard of Brian's double dealing, in that he was also working with Dan and Ollie.

Yes, I meant New Orleans. One of my best friends is from there and that's all I ever hear it referred to. :)

When I was watching it, I was like, wow, the first BB revolution and biggest (and quickest) back door ever! Can't wait to see if he gets voted off - but I bet he does if so many people wanted him up there in the first place. AND, he totally knows the jig is up! I don't much like Renny, but I'm sure she's a little more than relieved right now...

sigmadiva 07-16-2008 12:08 PM

I think Brian over-played his "hand". I think that Memphis is playing the game in the right way - he's trying to lay low and be a good player, but not too strong.

I think Renny will stay for a while - she's good for ratings.

He way over-played and over broadcast it.

Did anybody watch tonight? This is turning out to be a good season so far.

ms_gwyn 07-20-2008 09:25 PM

Damnit....

The "winter" season threw me off....

I hope I can catch up....

polarpi 07-21-2008 12:06 AM

I watched with one ear as I was doing other things ;)

I'm not a fan of the days it's on - there seems to be too much at one end of the week and then too many days with nothing (I almost forgot it was on tonight as I hadn't thought of the show since Thursday!

I like that it's back on Thursday this week. That Wednesday crap was not OK. Like you said -- too many days of nothing.

Wanting Jessie to go home. Not reading spoilers for the 1st season ever (namely because being on the campaign trail gives me no free time).

RedefinedDiva 07-31-2008 12:54 PM

I've only looked at the spoliers once so far. I usually don't start reading spoilers until one of "my" players is in jeopardy.

Right now, my favorite is Jerry. I also like Libra. It's kind of hard for me to form favorites beyond them because the show doesn't seem to have the same caliber of players this season.

WTF is up with Jessie acting like a crazy man, pleading his case to Keesha?! He seemed like he had lost it!

tnxbutterfly 08-01-2008 12:01 AM

OMG!!!!! I've disliked Jessie ever since he was HOH. I wanted to slap him a million times during the POV ceremony. Good for Keesha for finally growing a backbone.

polarpi 08-01-2008 12:53 AM

So - not sure if I like them bringing back "america's player" again - was not that great the last time (but I guess if it's just getting "x" nominated and evicted, it's a different plan than the stupid stuff from last time)

And is it just me, or does anyone else get Daniele flashbacks everytime Keesha is shown?

sunnyhibiscus 08-01-2008 02:22 AM

I'm not a huge fan of "America's Player", nor that I'm a huge fan of having the audience in for every eviction night.

Bravo to Keesha!

RedefinedDiva 08-04-2008 12:21 AM

For some reason, every week, I keep imagining that Julie Chen will forget that her thumb is still on that button and she will say something that the house will hear and the game will be blown. Hasn't happened yet, but I'm waiting....

Jessie MUST GO and he can take Michelle and Memphis with him.

I am happy that Renny has turned around. She was aggravating when they first entered the house. She's cooler now.

Keesha need not be so paranoid and quick to make irrational decisions. Her alliance hasn't turned on her YET, but if she keeps acting outwardly suspicious towards them, they will get rid of her. She doesn't know how to hide her emotions in her voice, nor facial expressions and Libra is good at reading people.

I love Jerry just for the hell of it! He's a cool old man. I LOVE how he kept his composure when Memphis was acting like a crazy man! How are you going to threaten to beat up an old man?! That was just shameful.

LoveMyKeyKKG 08-06-2008 01:05 AM

Keesha's "birthday party" tonight was a classic Big Brother moment. So funny when they started singing. But what was up with that cake?

I don't really care for Jessie and hope he goes this week, but I like how he stirred up so much trouble. :D And then when Jerry told Libra to shut up! Whoa!!

polarpi 08-06-2008 01:09 AM

While I appreciate Jessie's attempt at stirring the pot (and making things interesting *early* in the season), I hope he goes, too - I just think Memphis would be on the war path next week if he stays in the house, while could make it even more interesting. (Who would he target? April & Jerry come to mind, but I really think it could be almost anyone besides Keesha and maybe Dan!)

And what did you think of Dan's America's Player bit (as much as I hate the "stupid" tasks like these, I *did* crack up watching him trying to finagle a long hug from Jessie! :D)

I laughed because I'm always wondering the same.

Yeah, what you said :D

AND, what's up with the whole house voting the same every week? Kinda sick of that - it's like people have their own opinion until eviction day!

Renny is turning out to be the only person in the house who doesn't drive me crazy. All the rest annoy me.

MysticCat,

while April, Libra and Keesha were going at it in the bedroom, Memphis was out in the living room telling Dan something like this is great, see what happens when you put a bunch of 30-yr-old women together? So Jerry hears this and goes back to the bedroom to tell the girls what Memphis is saying about them. While he's trying to do this Libra keeps interrupting him so he looks at her and says something like just sit down and shut up and let me talk. I thought Libra's eyes were going to burst out of her head. So then Renny gets all upset about Jerry talking that way to a woman and she goes off yelling about Jerry. And then it's time to sing happy birthday to Keesha!

RBL 08-07-2008 02:29 PM

Can and will Ollie get a clue and start playing the game for himself and not be in such an OBVIOUS alliance with April....

RedefinedDiva 08-07-2008 08:38 PM

LET THE GAME BEGIN!!!

I agree with the above statements! Someone needs to break them up because they are squeaking by. This would be the perfect week to put both of them up.

Jessie is a dimwit.

Michelle.... Gimme a break.

tnxbutterfly 08-07-2008 11:01 PM

I'm so glad Jesse's gone. He was a tool.

The farewell videos were priceless. Tell us how you really feel.

Juile's outfit was:eek::o

Michelle as HOH. So I'm guessing either Libra and Keesha or Memphis and Dan or Libra and Dan or going up on the block.

polarpi 08-08-2008 12:08 AM

I'm curious to see how Dan gets "out" of the AP vote - his sister seems to think he can, and really, I think he could probably convince Michelle that it was Libra and Keesha who masterminded the "Get Jessie" campaign.

I really hope one of those two girls go home - Libra just pisses me off and Keesha (or Dani 2.0, as my mom coined her) thinks she's smarter than everyone...

(tnxbutterfly, I couldn't agree more about Julie's outfit!)

RBL 08-08-2008 11:21 AM

I can never understand why people (MICHELLE) get so bitter when their "friends" get voted out.. they can be sad but get over it... only ONE person is gonna win
