its funny ow sometimes people u share no blood relationtion to are theones you hurt most for when they are gone

mystep brother patrick lost his life yesrterday afternoon iin a collision with 3 teens who were speeding down a baltimore street.

27...a marine. sadder still this was my stpfathers youngest son and the 3rd one lost. He lost 2 others years ago to the streets and pat was the only one that flew straight. thats why he and i were close because we didnt get involved

this hurts relly hurts i cant sleep i cant cry no more and this shit is unfair...i guess there is
i dont now....some comfort being home as opposed to being cross seas somewhere.

i apologize if my writing is hard to understnad but I have been up all night and i cant seem to find my glasses

There is no answer to your "why" that anyone here can provide.
However as a dear friend of mine, who is a member of the clergy, once told me: "While we can only ask why, we also must understand that SHE has her reasons".

Pat's family and friends all have their reasons and need to grive his loss.
The best thing to do is to honor him and NEVER forget him and what he did while here.

I can relate to the feeling lost and numb at the loss of a dear family member in a senseless event such as that. I lost my 26 year old cousin and his financee in April to a drunk driver and I am still finding it, at times, hard to move forward. I think about him every evening before I go to sleep.

It is hard right now...and I will hold your hand and heart in my thoughts and prayers.

thanx for the love. right now the hardest part is keeping his sisters calm and me not breaking down. it's been a long few hrs and the good news i found out is that his wife and daughter are actually ok. the other casualty is the kid in the other car. ejected thru the window w/o a seat belt on. the other 2 in icu.

right now we are a total mess but as my gran' told me before she passed, when it's your time it's your time...but
