Can do whatever.

I always like new ones for the new seasons, so I can see all the new stuff that's been said versus going through lots of old posts, but that's just me.

jitterbug13 06-03-2008 02:19 PM

That's cool. Just wondering, that's all. :) ;)

cutiepatootie 06-04-2008 01:54 PM

So do I.

dzfan 06-04-2008 05:20 PM

I'm excited to see this! My favorite part of the shows had to be Drew Fuller though (Roxy's amazing AND hot husband)

I got really excited the day when I saw that he would be starring in a movie called The Circuit on ABC Family this Friday. He is too cute as a soldier but I think he'll be even hotter as a race car driver!

jitterbug13 06-04-2008 06:32 PM

I posted this in the other thread:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080602/...bV8jg8LJppMhkF

They are already saying in the promos that someone is going to die from the bomb. Who do you think it will be? Who you don't want it to be?

I don't want it to be Amanda. She's got her whole future ahead of her and I want her and Jeremy to get back together. I'm going to assume that the wives that were in the bar survived.

Wouldn't care if Roland dies.

KDAngel 06-05-2008 02:20 PM

I've always considered Roland one of the wives, but in a different way. That said, I don't think any of the wives will die. But I guess we'll just have to wait and see, cause I don't even want to read spoilers on this one and know ahead of time. :)

TTT...Tonight at 10 p.m. EST! :D

A Post and Courier story on the show that ran in today's paper:

Thetagirl218 06-08-2008 05:31 PM

My sister and I are both sick with colds, so we watched the old episodes yesterday during the marathon! We can't wait for tonight!

Nanners52674 06-09-2008 12:19 AM

Any thoughts on tonight's episode???? I thought it was fantastic except for the one tragedy :-( For that i wanted to kick the tv and curse lifetime. . . . Cant wait for next week!!!!!

amycat412 06-09-2008 12:28 AM

ACK!!! 30 more min before it comes on here! I can't wait!

Nanners52674 06-09-2008 01:05 AM

OMG Amycat TISSSUES!!!!!! you will NEED TISSUES!!!!! especially if u have ever dated an army guy during a deployment. . . . TISSUES!!!!!

amycat412 06-09-2008 01:08 AM

It just started in my time zone. I've never dated an army guy--not into the military at all. tho now that i'M IN Vegas, where we have a big air force base, you never know!

amycat412 06-09-2008 01:42 AM

awwww I want a Trevor!

SthrnZeta 06-09-2008 02:51 AM

Wow, totally didn't see the Amanda death thing coming... definitely cried a lot this episode, but the part that got to me the most was the video Trevor left for Roxy. OMG, I would go crazy if J did something like that for me :( I miss my man! WAAH! I totally understand the waiting for that first phone call but him being Delta definitely makes the fear a bit more heightened. Not sure I could deal with short notice deployments, etc. Thank God Joan told her he was ok, I was worried for a sec she wouldn't. And yes, I'm lame for just now getting into this show. What was I waiting for!??!

Still BLUTANG 06-09-2008 10:00 AM

^^^^

i feel the same way, i didn't watch the first season! however, i caught up in time thanks to the marathon saturday... and now i'm gonna go buy the boxed set.

what took me so long?

Army Wife'79 06-09-2008 02:06 PM

With both Marilyn and Lenore gone now, all we have left are the "nice" wives. (and that's not how it is my friends). I wish I was a writer for this show. I'd have some real bizarre storylines (all true).

jitterbug13 06-09-2008 04:33 PM

In the words of Florida Evans...

D@NM, D@NM, D@NM!!!!

I did not want Amanda to die. Anybody else, I could have lived with. And I was so excited that she survived and went to college (which the college was not UVA, but the College of Charleston ;)) and just to find out it was all a dream....:mad:

(((Roxy))) I loved the scene with Trevor on the DVD.

There were Charleston newscasters from Channel 5 in the news scenes. :D And check out my location!

One of my friends said that the real Army Wives aren't like the TV show. Army Wive'79, maybe you should contact the writers. They'll be filming here most of the summer.

PhiMuKay 06-09-2008 06:04 PM

i definitely cried my eyes out during this show! & i'm about to cry more now that i'm thinking about it again!! Why did it have to be Amanda?!

Thetagirl218 06-09-2008 09:29 PM

I was seriously sobbing my eyes out! First at the whole take your whole daughter to college thing, and I just had a weird feeling that one of them was dead!!!!! I was like screaming at the TV when it was Amanda.....I thought it was a little Grey's anatomy'asque.

Why wasn't Jeremy upset that Amanda was in the hospital? She was in critical condition!

jitterbug13 06-09-2008 10:18 PM

The only time they showed Jeremy was when he arrived at his parents' home (at the time we didn't know that Amanda was in the hospital) and when the doctor told everybody that she had died. If they showed any emotion when he was first on, that would have gave it away. I hope he doesn't go crazy again.

Roland/Joan: Roland, the first thing you need to think about is getting well, not about the status of your marriage.

D@NM, D@NM, D@NM!!!!

Thetagirl218 06-23-2008 12:04 AM

Best Episode yet tonight! :)

cutiepatootie 06-25-2008 02:18 PM

this show just gets better ands better....anytime i can see trevor i am a happy girl!

jitterbug13 06-25-2008 04:33 PM

I just found out yesterday that Army Wives is filming at my dad's place of employment. :)

jitterbug13 07-06-2008 09:31 PM

My dad's place of employment is being used for the high school.

Yay for the Hump Bar reopening! When the bomber's sister said that she didn't want the Hump Bar reopening and wanted to us is as a memorial, all I could think was "Boy that sounds familar." There was talk for months about how the property that the firefighters died was going to be used. Eventally, the city bought the land.

And didn't it seem like one scene Joan wasn't showing and the next she looked like she was about seven months pregnant? And then a few scenes later she wasn't showing again?

I wonder what's going to happen now since Trevor is back home, but now hurt. But I am glad that he is OK. :D

KDAngel 07-07-2008 02:00 PM

I so love this show. It has well developed characters, a great story line and a great message. More people should definitely tune it to it! :D

KDAngel 07-14-2008 10:46 AM

LOVE this show. Love that Betty got the Ford convertible that supports curing breast cancer too. :)

cutiepatootie 07-14-2008 11:15 AM

This show just gets better and better. Last Nights show was yet another great episode. I loved how they handled Betty's departure and how they really focused on breast cancer.

jitterbug13 07-14-2008 12:22 PM

I was LMAO when Joan's replacement got told off. And Joan's smirk was priceless. :)

Once I finally got used to Betty on a regular basis, she's gone. And did ya'll see the product placement (even thought that Mustang was pretty)?

Get your groove on Denise! :p

LOL! I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that! I'm guessing the baby will be born in time for the season finale, and it'll be 5 years old for the Season 3 premiere, just like they do on soap operas (j/k...lol)! :p

In all seriousness, though, I'm loving the show more and more as well, despite my love/dislike (not hate...too strong) of the Lifetime network. I'm gonna miss ornery Betty as well (nice PSA about breast cancer at the end).

I didn't even know they made that, but HOW COOL!:D

jitterbug13 09-15-2008 08:31 PM

TTT...

I know it was getting kind of bland after the doctor died and Frank came back, but last night had me  !

Claudia Joy--Hasn't she gone through enough already? :(

Hope that Joan is OK and glad that the baby is fine.

Trevor needs help ASAP.

I have a feeling that Pam is going to kick that stalker's tail.

I've been meaning to get on here and comment --

HOLY COW to last night's final 10 minutes or so.

Poor Claudia Joy. She HAS been through so much. I hope the general gets home or something happens.

And I don't think they're going to ruin the core group of "wives," so even though bad things keep happening it all has to work out because let's say Roxy and Trevor split up -- she'd have to move off post and the show just wouldn't work the same. So I KNOW some of these problems have to resolve at some point. OK, so I HOPE they do anyway. :)

Called it! :D

I was glad when Michael punched the diplomat. :D

I think last night's episode should have been the season finale, but I heard that the finale is the beginning of November.
