I hope this is only gossip...Personally, I thought her and Nick were a good couple and it could have worked out. Considering the high rate of divorce and even higher rate in Hollywood, she should give this some time, especially if her rationale is beating her little sister to the aisle.

Jess does not hit me as a country singer, especially after the type of music she has already done. Not to mention most country singers are not parading their Louis Vuitton's around Hollywood. Correct me if I am wrong, but most country singers lead very normal lives...Wait a minute...isn't that what NICK said he wanted to do in the show when she said she wanted a maid etc...Hmmm:rolleyes:

Jessica Simpson is NO Carrie Underwood. Simpson used to be kinda likable, but now she just looks petty and idiotic.

I still have a hard time picturing the two of them together. I got to meet Romo at an EIU alum outing, and he was really nice and down-to-earth. From everything I've read about her, she seems to be very high maintenance.

I love that getting married-you know, what used to be a big commitment-is now like, a race for her! So ironic that her and Nick's wedding was so lavish and expensive, and she wrote a wedding planning book-and 2 years later it's in the toilet and she's cheating.

I read an article in the current US about this. She is (as someone else so nicely called her) an attention whore. But honestly I think that stems from Daddy. US said that her father "introduced" her and Tony and that he has already spoken to Tony about "joining the family". Seriously, what is that about?

I don't believe a word in the article that says that she is "down to earth". I've seen the Newleyweds and OMG there were times that I was like "how the hell does Nick put up with her shit". She's a complete idiot. Plus, I might be the only one, but I don't think she's that pretty or talented.

I also remember one where Nick was shooting a music video and Jessica got jealous, so she went and spent like 800 bucks on 2 bras and 2 panties and Nick was livid with her. The kicker, she wasn't able to return them. He was pissed.

I also remember another where she spent like 2 grand on a sheet set. Again Nick was pissed. Literally instead of using the washing machine she would just go out and buy it, I remember him being like "learn to use a washing machine". (Which let's face it at 22 and she couldn't use a washing machine, it just went to show what a high matienence and spoiled little princess she was).

I just think she's a moron. I'd probably slap her and tell her to stop being an idiot :rolleyes::D

I know real-people have done that and the marriage actually lasted... .but considering the divorce rate in Hollywood, I would give that marriage 1 year... maybe 2 tops.

I think that used to be the case back in the day, but I think the 1980s was probably the last time you could really say that. Now there's country acts like Keith Urban, Shania Twain, etc., etc., that are much more "Hollywood" and into the celebrity scene. Of course, you might question whether some of these singers are really "country" or actually pop with a nominal country facade.

Clearly you don't spend enough time on TMZ or Perez otherwise you would know they are the authority. ;) They have broken just about every major Hollywood-related story.

Perez I could care less about because he just annoys the heck outta me (that, and he plays favorites)...but IMHO I think TMZ.com's pretty reputable.
I know TMZ footage and news pieces were used in the Britney Spears custody case a few months back.
