Any Passions fans?
 

I have to admit, no matter how cheesy this show gets, I'm completely hooked! The story lines is exactly the same as it has been for the last two years (with a few minor adjustments), but I can't stop watching. I was totally shocked with the recent admission that Theresa and Julian got MARRIED. How nasty! Poor Theresa. Poor Ethan. And what is the deal with Whitney and Chad. I am totally rooting for them to get together, but what if they are brother and sister? That would be beyond disgusting! As for Sheridan and Luis, What the heck? Of course they weren't written off the show, but how are we supposed to believe that Sheridan survived a point blank bomb explosion? She'll probably come through with a little cut on her forhead and some black powder on her torn clothes. And seeing as how she watched the bomd count down to detonation, you'd think she'd at least try to run away, instead of just screaming "Luis, Luis!" While I'm thoroughly amused by all that, my current intrigue lies with the Grace, David scenario. Maybe it's just me, but I rooting for David to get with grace and Sam to get with Ivy (especially since Julian recently divorced her). It seems like Jessica, Kay, and Charity are too involved in there good/evil battle to notice what's going on with their parents. I've never watched it really, except once to see what it was like...
My ex-girlfriend was trying to get on the show, she made it to the final casting for it, but was cut in the final when it was between her and one other girl...I just really wish I could have been able to watch the show and say, "hey, I used to date her." Oh well

This show is an absolute hoot!! I havent really ever followed the story line, but I tune in from time to time , and its always on in our chapter room. In general, im not big into Day Time Dramas,but I make an exception for this one because of it's spoof like qualities!!

I've been watching Passions since the beginning, and I've also been hooked to the show even if the lines are cheesy and the actors can't act for squat.

Josh Ryan Evans (Timmy) is the cutest thing. I'm glad he's getting recognition for his role.

I've been waiting for a Passions CD to come out. Jane French (the lady who sings the theme song) also sang a lot of ballads featured on the show...and I heard a rumor that the show was going to release a CD of the songs they use on the show, but so far nothing yet.

Oh well, it's still pretty cool! She must have been rather beautiful to get that far in the audition process. I'm not a huge daytime fan, but you very rarely see unattractive people on soaps.

I think Passions is absolutely hilarious!:D I watch it whenever I can either at my house, to the chagrin of my brother, or at the gym while I am on the elliptical.

Haha I can't believe I found other people who actually watch the show too! I love it no matter how ridiculious it gets I just cant seem to get enough!! and Now Theresa has Married Jullian wow this is gonna be good!! its a dumb soap opera but still I just cant stop watching!! :p

I wasn't too particular fond of passions either when it first came out. However, I think the real the fireworks is still yet to come when Chad finds out who his father's side is.

I wanted to see what Pilar's and Luis' facial expression is going to be when he finds out about Theresa.

Passions is by far the cheesiest show I have ever seen, yet still it's the only soap I watch! I hadn't seen it in a long time before yesterday, so thanks to everyone who helped clear the smoke on what's going on with Luis and Sheridan. I have one question though... what happened to Tabitha and Timmy? Did they die? The last episode I saw before yesterday was where they were trapped on a burning boat.

Timmy and Tabitha are not dead, Miguel rescued them from the burning boat. They are still on Warlock Island with the other teenagers and, of course, still being chased by "Norma".

Thanks :) I realized that when I watched today's installment. But can anyone tell me how Charity and Miguel got out of hell? As you can see, I've missed a lot! Oh yeah, and did Chad ever find out who his parents are?

I missed the few episodes surrounding Charity and Miguel's escape from hell, so if anyone can fill me in also, I would really appreciate it. I do know that Chad is still unaware of who his parents are. He was really close to finding out, and then he didn't. I can't believe this storyline with Theresa and Julian. At first, I didn't believe it becasue I thought it was all part of one of Alister Crane's plots. But it's getting a little too elaborate, even for the Crane patriarch. I'm still wondering what happened to Martin Fitzgerald. I think that the plot is even more elaborate than Julian even knows. My speculation is that, "Alister Crane" is really Martin Fitzgerald. Since the show often spoofs more well know features (like Norman Bates from "Psycho"), My guess is this is a "Star Wars" spoof and Alister is really Luis's father (kinda like Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader!). Although, it's just a guess! Let me knoe what others think.

Ok, I have to miss today's installment, so somebody please let me know what happens! :D

I found out how Charity and Migual got out of hell. Timmy saved them by throwing a demon's foot or claw into the closet and it released the teens!

Today's episode: Ethan wants to marry Thersa, but the wedding is brought to a halt by the cries for help from the boat that rescued Luis. Charity tries to walk into the campfire, as she is called by warlocks beckoning to her. Kay tries to stop Reese from saving Charity by acting like she likes him. Norma captures Timmy:eek: ! Hopefully, he'll get away!Sam tries further to prove that David and Grace are not married. He asked a priest from the church they were married at if he recognized them, he says "no". :( Sheridan is still M.I.A. That was pretty much it for today. I disagree with you on that Alistair/Martin connection. I think Martin and his Luis' older brother (who also disappeared) met some untimely demise since they were getting too close to Alistair. I think anybody that didn't go along with Alistair gets eliminated (Alistair's wife, the Lopez-Fitzgerald men, etc.). The only person that Alistair seems to fear on the Soap besides Luis is Tabitha (has anybody else noticed that?) I have another question for everybody---Theresa started feeling ill and she's probably pregnant---who's baby? Julian's or Ethan's.

Whoa!!!! I thought Theresa wasn't feeling good because of a hangover and her guilt about marrying Julian, I dodn't even consider that it could be something more serious. But your right, it's definately possible for her to be pregnant. If the father was Julian, it would be Ivy's situation all over again (having a baby, concealing the real father). As for what you mentioned earlier about Martin Fitzgerald, it sounds plausible, but it still doesn't explain why they never show his face! :) So , I'm going to stick with my instincts on that one. However, I (like you) have also noticed Alister's intense fear of Tabitha. I always figured it was becasue she had the potential to expose him. I assumed he never had her killed because she was a witch. But now, I;m kinda of wondering if there isn't a more intimate connection between the two that he fears even more! But then again, I often let my imagination get out of hand. Isn't anyone wondering about Sheridan. Mackenzie Westmore (the actress who plays Sheridan) isn't leaving the show, so you know they didn't kill her off, but how is she going to live through a bomb exploding at point blank and floating in the ocean during "The Passions Storm"?

Did Teresa ever sleep with Ethan? I assumed that Julian was her first because when I saw it MONTHS ago she was adamant about saving herself for marriage. But I've missed a lot, so maybe she changed her mind? And by the way, if she was pregnant by Julian, she wouldn't be feeling sick already. It takes a while, ya know ;)

Hey folx, for those who didn't know, Dustin also has a spoiler site for Passions at www.soapoperafan.com/passions and he has in-depth re-caps of each day...they're more in-depth than the nbci.com ones! The only times he'll use the nbci.com re-caps is if he's really busy (I think he's a grad student), but he usually does an update at the end of the day.

Theresa married Julian???? Wow I'm so out of it! Last time I watched, Ethan had just dumped that other chick (forgotten her name, the one with the terrible mother) for Theresa and I was really mad cause I hated Theresa. That was a loooong time ago but my god, why did she marry Julian?!

It must have been a very long time since you tuned in. Here's a very broad recap. Ethan dumped Gwen months ago and became engaged to Theresa. They were supposed to have a double wedding with Sheridan and Luis, but Ivy drove into the church and exposed that Theresa knew that Ethan was not a Crane and had been lying to him (that was the big tabloid scare). Theresa ran out of the church and followed Julian to Burmuda. She went to convince Julian to take Ethan back into the family. He got he drunk (and himself) and apparently they married at a 24 hour wedding chapel and "consumated" their wedding vows. Now Ethan is in Bermuda to marry Theresa, but their wedding was interrupted by the Passions Storm and Luis's boat explosion.

Because it so velveeta... I want to smack Theresa's smarmy behind every time she opens up her mouth. She frets over this, whe whines over that. I had to write NBC about the show when it first started.

It was so funny when the Sam/Ivy thing came out and Sam's wife started acting like she was on crack, pushing him away. What woman really says that off-the-wall isht? "You need closure, I'm not sure you love me." Um, hello? How LONG ago was that situation? :rolleyes:

Has anyone noticed how homogenous the show is? Moreso than most soaps? I watch it like rubberneckers at car accidents, I hate myself for looking, but I still do. Then I rail at the TV and how stupid the show is, and flip to my regular soap, then flip back at commercials! :eek:

Maybe I'm looking into this too much...but does anyone get annoyed when Theresa goes into her flaring nose trip? It's usually accompanied with her teeth exposed and lips open.

I HATE that.

I havent watched that show in ages but that kid Tim just cracks me up. Tim and his Martimmys. LOL :D

Preparation Time: 10 Minutes

Ingredients:
3 12oz cans of lemonade, thawed/diluted
1 bottle of ginger ale
1 cup of frozen orange juice, thawed/diluted
1 quart of cranberry juice cocktail
1 orange thinly sliced into 12

Directions:
1: Combine liquid ingredients together, mix well.
2: Serve chilled with a slice of orange.

Thanks Pink27! But why did Theresa agree to marry Julian, it doesn't seem to me like she had much motive for it! Were they BOTH drunk, and pulling a Friends "The One Where They All Go To Vegas" (and get drunk & married)? If so, isn't she going to get it annulled or something?? Gosh I should really watch this show but I don't get up early enough for it! ;)

So, how much longer is Diana/Sheridan going to be without her memory?
Julian looks like he's between a rock and a hard place. How much longer do you think he's going to be on the show?

Theresa's pregnancy has been exposed, Antonio is back in Harmony and half the town of Harmony is dusting their guns and plotting Julians demise. Someone's going to die next Thursday ... Any speculation on what's going to happen???

Geez, I am an addict, too. And it does not help that I am home to watch it each day ...

I think Ethan will prob forgive her in time, I mean it's not like she had an intentional affair wth Julian, but she should have told the truth. And Ivy has such a double standard, always calling Theresa names when she had an actual affair with Sam, and did not ever plan on revealing Ethans father!
I think Julian will be killed, but then again would they really kill him off? Maybethe reporter.

In about 2 days worth of viewing lately , they would show Teresa about 4-5 times with that hurt doe in the headlights look and her not saying anything just before they went to commercial. I wanted to yell out..and did...JUST SAY SOMETHING STUPID, lol! :rolleyes:

LOL, I hear ya on the Theresa thing. And I am SO impatient for Diana/Sheridan to meet up with Luis. This whole just missing each other thing that's been going on for months is driving me nuts! I'm so addicted to the show, but at the same time, could the story move any slower? I won't be able to watch it again for a long time because of my class and work schedule, but I bet when I tune in eventually I won't have missed much!

I will be so glad when Sheridian and Luis meet up again! Although, I find it odd that you can be dancing with "the love of your life" and not know it's them. This situation is really stupid! The past life stuff is really lame!

Theresa won her court case and has been decared Mrs. Julian Crane. Ivy and Rebecca are trying to get Theresa to confess to killing Julian. They have convinced her that Ethan is the killer. They made a phony tape showing him as the killer.

Timmy is somewhere lost trying to get away from zombie Charity. while Tabitha is trying to convince Charity not to kill her. Kay is trying to find a way to kill Zombie Charity, so that she can have Miguel to herself.

What is the deal with the whole Titanic/past life scenario. It's rediculous. I hate the show but i love it at the saem time. The whole sheridan/luis/brian/and the other chick that luis is with now situation is really getting to me. I just want to jump through the TV and set eveybody straight. The writers better get do something exciting b/c i'm getting more aggravated everyday by the show wasteing my time...i always expect something to happen...and there's never anything. argh. And did Brian/antonio kill Julian? oh ya and one last thing....what were they thinking with that big giant ugly crow bird thing?

I was hooked when it first aired a couple of years ago, but for the last 4 months I have refused to watch it-it has gotten to cheesy.
