But what was with the constant adjusting of the masks? That was distracting.

I started watching the whole thing and I saw what you meant.... I am like.... yeah, just get sunglasses next time.

Well, the constant mask adjustments and water bottle stuff are often a ploy by the prophytes to be seen. I've always felt pros should keep their butts off the block for the most part.

wow... some of the strolls were fun.... I just know soror's dogs were bawling after the cartwheel and high hopping...

yeah, I mean that kinda defeats the purpose. A couple of times they almost interrupted the step/chant.

On another note, it was good to see so many WI sorors come out to support UWM. Some of our MN sorors went, too.

That's the impression I always get when I see this at probates. However, I think this particular probate is probably one of the most "excessive adjustment" probates that I've seen.

Maybe the constant adjustments were an excuse to give them a rest.

Not during a chant/step, though.

Congrats to these Sorors and it was an overall nice show. :D

Spelman Probate

Wow...that was nice. My cousin just sent me this link for the 2008 Probate at Spelman. Did anyone here attend their show? Needless to say they killed it from what I can tell. I'm kind of confused though, their shirts say '08 but at the end it looked like some of the new members were wearing jackets that said Spr. 06. It says DVD coming soon...I would love 2 see the entire show.

^^^ They were probably wearing their prophytes' jackets -- one of them was wearing Spring 03.

It looks like it was a geat show (I love the outfits and the "black power fist") but...um, the person who made the video, spelled SORORITY incorrectly.:(

I really couldn't put it altogether with just this clip, but something about it didn't sit right with me.

Senusret I 05-06-2008 10:14 PM

^^^ I didn't like the "demeanor" of the neos, for lack of a better word.

Yeah and they looked kinda "roguish" for lack of a better word during the introductions.
