Washington University declares war against University of Washington

The Bears have finally found a worthy opponent for a fight, as Student Union (SU) declared war on the University of Washington.

"On behalf of the student body, Student Union has declared war on the University of Washington," said SU President Neil Patel. "We're tired of being confused with the University of Washington. We're in St. Louis, dammit."

Students at the University actually care about this war, despite the two failed attempts by Emory University to initiate hostilities in the past four years.

"People don't care about Emory because they're not worthy adversaries," said senior Simon Guevara, co-president of Red Alert.

"This war actually means something because we're fighting for our name and our reputation."

Should we expect a sequel to be, "Indiana University of Pennsylvania declairs war on Indiana University"???

Or "University of Miami declares war on Miami University of Ohio"

Georgetown University has been drawing up plans to annex Georgetown College and rename it Georgetown University Junior.

No wars involved, we're too prissy for all that.

I'm trying to figure out who Transylvania University should declare war on . . . Romania?

I think there should be a war between THE REAL USC and that school in Southern California that claims to be the real deal.

I'm sure Earpus will declair Pittsburg State to be the real Pitt

A few years ago, Ohio University and Ohio State nearly went to court over the use of the word "Ohio."

Fortunately, those bozos in Columbus backed down. (tee hee)

And ALL of the U of M's and UM (U of Miami, FL) need to go at it hardcore ridiculous style! That's so confusing, especially when UM is the only one you grew up hearing about.

The University of South Carolina was founded in 1801. They celebrated their bicentennial when I was graduating.

The University of Southern California was founded in 1880.

We have more than 70 years over that other school that claims to be the real USC. I think we have a winner. :)

I know...that is why I didn't mention it for USC.....;)

Washington U ain't won chit in awhile... Neither should they be worried about that...

But since UW is in the Pac-10...

Most fellas I know don't like the Pac-10, period, except the players and my brother who attended UCLA...
