Daylight Savings Time
Just a reminder that DST starts this weekend so don't forget to Spring Forward. (just when it was starting to be light out when I leave in the mornings... )
|
Already? Geesh. Thanks.
|
Yea! I've often said that should I ever run for President :D staying on permanant DST will be my only platform. I LOVE the longer, sunny days. :D :D :D
|
The good news - it will be 5:30 instead of 4:30 a.m. when # 1 son wakes me up.
The bad news - he will be going to bed an hour "later". |
The Deltas are starting this weekend?
Starting what? Awww...who cares!! COOL! I will take pics...heh :) |

umm ok....... it's been around for AGES.... Ben Franklin had the idea back during the colonial days but it didn't actually happen til Wilson became president (WWI era) so if it's been around for almost 100 years why are you bitchin about it? |
It will be darker in the mornings again and lighter longer at night.
This morning, at 7:15 am, it was twilight here. Sunday, after moving the clock forward one hour, it will be 8:15 am when it is twilight. If you get up at 5 am and go to bed at 11 pm, you're going to see the same number of hours of sunlight no matter what. They seem to think we use less energy if it stays light later in the evening. For me, it doesn't matter, it just means I have to use more energy in the mornings. Personally, I have a harder time waking up in the morning and being motivated to leave for work when it looks like it's the middle of the night. |
All times are GMT -4. The time now is 10:25 AM. |
