The executives at CBS thought that we would enjoy this show during the cold month of Feburary, rather than the warm month of July. We'll see.

The official website is up and the cast has been announced. The show starts Tuesday. A lot of them look very model-ish and tanned.

Since I now work at nights, I may not be able to catch up like previous seasons. Hopefully they will show previous episodes on Innertube like they did last season.

I am excited yet a bit apprehensive b/c it just seemed as CBS had their hand alllllllll up in the show...hopefully things will be better...and they will let the players play the game....no more America's Player!!!

does anyone know the days its on this season? i cant seem to find that anywhere. i know it starts tuesday but i cant seem to find any other day its on after that and usually its on at least 3 days a week. please let me know. thanks!! and does anyone know why its called til death do us part or something like that?

According to the CBS schedule, it's on Tuesday (9 p.m), Wednesday (9 p.m.) and Sunday (8 p.m.). It's usually on Thursday but Survivor just started. Hope this helps! :)

The big twist is that they are paired up into "couples". They will do stuff that couples would do (share the same bed and work together). If they don't watch themselves, they maybe eleminated together too.

I don't know how this is going to work. I'm still not sure about them showing BB in the winter.

They only did it because they wanted to have something new on the air because of the writers strike.

Did anyone watch last night? It seems alright for now...glad to know there is no America's Player. The twist has been a bit messed up I think. I accidently came across BBAD last night and one of the undercover couples have ALREADY been exposed...I'm like dang...people cant even keep their mouth shut for at least a week.

So, who watched last night? I think it will be an interesting season, to say the least.

So I enjoy the people this season. I think I'm going to like it.

Highlight: I thought perhaps they really wouldn't be evicted in pairs, but based off what darling1 says, I guess there wasn't really a twist there. Oh well. I guess it will just be a short season.

i wonder if cbs will come back in the summer with bb10. i really like seeing my bb during the summer..lol. this feels so odd.

I'm sure they will. They are airing this now ONLY because it's a hit and fills three hours of prime-time air a week. It's a brilliant move on their part they've planned since end of Oct at least because of the strike.

And I'm ASSuming it's set up the way it is because they hoped the strike would end.

i watched the first two episodes of this season and im not watchin anymore. ive never missed an episode of all 8 seasons and im really disappointed by this season. ill see if theres a bb10 this summer and then ill start watching again.

I am in the same boat. I personally have no desire to watch this group of hamsters. The good thing is that at least BB10 can only get better. After the ED and Dani lovefest last season (BARF!) and now this group, I think the casting sucks!

I haven't watch an episode yet due to work. But my best friend's mom said it's bad. And if she said it's bad, it's bad.

Best BB clip ever. I know most of you are going to hate it, (OK, all of those who hated Dick last season anyway) but it's entertaining.

Go with your best friend's mom. It is bad. I can't seem to get through a whole episode. The people on there are boring and shallow.

As the mother of a kid with Asperger's Syndrome, I was so offended that CBS showed the creep mouthing off and then being totally non-apologetic. I am sure that that scene did not end up on the cutting room floor because they wanted some shock value to come out, but for those of us dealing with special needs family members, we have joined together to boycott the show. As far as I am concerned, Big Brother will NEVER be turned on in my home again. I don't need my son who has had low self-esteem because of his AS, hearing someone on TV make a rude remark.

Haha, seriously! "I can call 'em whatever I want, I work with 'em all day." :rolleyes: I work with a bunch of incompetant slackers at work but I don't go around calling them that all day just because I work with them.

I only saw the first episode and I'm not sure I wanna see anymore either. I'm more excited about The Riches and Dirt coming back next month :D

How about last night when it came on I fell asleep....and woke up at exactly 9pm....oh well

I hope that Allison and Ryan goes home. Allison is a bitch. But I have a bad feeling that Allison and Ryan are going to stay.

I was so glad that Amanda went home last week. She is such a nuisance.

I like Chelsia and James.

I guess nobody's watching this. Most days I'm too tired or too lazy to even care.

I'm still watching - and found out two of the women I work with are avid fans, too (we were discussing it around the copier this morning ;))

Not the usual season - but it's something to watch in the interim. :/

I love them, but I hate that I've seen James' gay porn video. Since he makes out with Chelsia, it makes me feel like she doesn't have the whole story about him.

And then there's Josh w/ the taking cocaine pics -- crazy! This cast is definitely a piece of work...

i am usually knee deep in big brother but i can't stomach it. im really hoping they come back with a summer addition..lol. maybe it would feel a but more natural.

this 'twist' is some garbage and that fact that these nimrods didnt figure it out means that tptb at cbs were really scraping the bottom of the barrel to find some contestants.

I saw a few seconds of BBAD (since Showtime is free this weekend) and thought about watching it.

Then I changed my mind and went to sleep.

Brilliant move on Ryan's part last night. Loved it.

And the plot thickens - we shall see what happens with them bringing James back in after his eviction :)

Blah. He's such a creep. After seeing the porn stuff online last month, he just seems like such a slimeball. Sooo not a fan.

Well, I'm not concerned with his personal life...just how he is playing the game because he is one of a very, very few people that is actually playing the game.

Agreed - I think that's the only reason I'm still halfway watching this season, especially with all the shows now returning :)

I try to look on this competition on how they are inside the house, not what happens on the outside - that's probably why half the time the ones I'm rooting for are the underdogs in the house. :p

Well I disagree. I think some others are definitely playing the game.

Take annoying Natalie for instance -- she put ideas into Adam's head when he was HoH and then worked hard to get key players out when she was.

Sheila is as well. I'm AMAZED that she's still around after how was acted in the beginning and the fake lesbian crap she pulled. Lady is doing something right for sure.
