Same thing I have for 95% of my breakfasts on weekday mornings - cinnamon roll flavor Quaker instant oatmeal with frozen blueberries, some sort of granola/cereal bar, and a pint of no pulp, calcium enriched OJ. Eating a healthy breakfast every weekday was my New Year's resolution from 2007 and was one that I've managed to keep in spades. I figure if I'm being good with these five meals, I've at least got about 25% of my weekly diet taken care of.

skylark 01-31-2008 12:21 AM

For the past week or so I've been eating a waffle with peanut butter and honey, and if I'm really hungry, I'll throw in a carnation instant breakfast, too.

Kappamd 01-31-2008 12:54 AM

A granola bar and a bottle of water in physics class

VandalSquirrel 01-31-2008 01:14 AM

ForeverRoses 01-31-2008 02:37 PM

mixed berry yoplait yogurt and some tea

justabeachbrat 01-31-2008 03:02 PM

whole wheat English muffin/light veggie cream cheese
usually also have oatmeal, not in mood today.
and of course, coffee, it has to be a food group.

what I'd like for breakfast: breakfast tacos from diner near courthouse, San Marcos, Tx. just a fried egg, flour tortilla, cheese, salsa. I'd get two, and coffee, eat for less than $5. I haven't found them here, and I seem to lack the skill to flip an egg.

preciousjeni 01-31-2008 03:13 PM

Infamous12 01-31-2008 05:29 PM

I am fighting the urge to lecture those of you who don't eat breakfast or eat lint for breakfast and call it a balanced meal.

Sorry I didn't take note :(

I only had coffee because someone made it for me and filled my mug and gave me conversation hearts as I ran out the door. I bought a muffin and coffee later but didn't eat the muffin, but got two fun sized candy bars (kit-kat and nestle crunch), then I had a cup of soup, diet pepsi, and two sammies for lunch from Quiznos, and ate the muffin with apple juice for my afternoon snack. Yesterday was a jacked up day, I usually have a healthy breakfast.

To make up for yesterday this morning I had eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, biscuits & gravy, and huckleberry zucchini bread for breakfast, with lemon, honey ginseng hot tea. Then I walked over two miles in deep snow.

Okay...I can't lecture you now. :p Your exercise kept your heart from exploding from that almost 1,000 cal breakfast.

AGDee 01-31-2008 10:14 PM

I was craving conversation hearts for breakfast this morning but couldn't find any. I had to settle for hot chocolate.

AlwaysSAI 01-31-2008 10:35 PM

Scrambled eggs and hashbrown. 2% milk.

jmagnus 02-01-2008 02:10 AM

Benzgirl 02-01-2008 01:32 PM

You could float conversation hearts in your Hot Chocolate for Valentine's Day

Oh! I might have to try that! No real difference between conversation hearts and marshmallows, except for the texture.
