What did you eat for lunch today?

We've got the dinner thread. I didn't see a lunch thread, so why not start one? It's early now, but when lunch time arrives, post here what you ate for lunch.

What did you eat for lunch today?

honeychile 01-28-2008 02:37 PM

McDonald's Yogurt Parfait, with sweet tea.

That's a lunch? Damn you must look great. I need protein and carbs ... thus I am always about 15-20 pounds more than I'd like :-(

Scully 01-28-2008 02:49 PM

Another amazing Smart Ones frozen dinner

APhi Sailorgirl 01-28-2008 02:53 PM

A lean cuisine and a trader joe's cheese stick. Course with the cheese and my trail mix morning snack (I even measured out the portions) I am almost to my fat range for the day according to Sparkpeople.

sageofages 01-28-2008 04:35 PM

A small bowl of Frosted Flakes..............they'rrreeee grrrrrrrreat!

AlethiaSi 01-28-2008 04:42 PM

I had an Amy's Vegan burrito and some toast earlier.
I love Amy's frozen foods, I get enough tofu without having to actually cook it myself! (the big blocks of it kind of gross me out lol)

cheerfulgreek 01-28-2008 04:45 PM

A turkey sandwich (on white bread, with everything on it except mayo) from the sandwich shop I go to, to study.

I don't know why I get the hot peppers on it though, because my mouth burns and my nose runs whenever I do.:p

Yet another Smart ones, and apple and a babybel cheese wheel.... the weekday standard (though sometimes, I get realy crazy and go with string cheese instead... I'm such a creature of habit).

If you're ever in Indy, I can point you to a great Greek place (it's also somewhat close to AGD headquarters). I love different ethnic foods, but my husband is the pickiest eater ever. So I do my food exploration during my lunches!

Today, Indian Food.

I love chicken tikka masala but haven't had it in awhile...I need to try to find a good Indian restaurant around here.

This morning I was running late for work so I didn't have time to pack my lunch. For lunch, I went to Cosi and got a grilled chicken BMT melt. It was delish! :)

Benzgirl 01-29-2008 02:37 PM

Big Spinach Salad with Grilled Chicken

I loooove Indian food! Sooo yummy! We don't have any Indian restaurants here so I have to indulge when out of town/state.

For lunch today: Lentil Soup

honeychile 01-29-2008 02:47 PM

ooooh - lentil soup! I love it!

But I had a hamburger.

sageofages 01-29-2008 02:59 PM

Today was tuna macaroni salad with green peppers and dill weed.

Yum!

AlethiaSi 01-29-2008 03:11 PM

Tom Earp 01-29-2008 05:39 PM

ForeverRoses 01-30-2008 10:06 AM

I have a lunch date today:)

I was invited to have lunch with my son at his school. So I am having grade school cafeteria food (the menu today is beefy macaroni, carrots and dip, fruit cup, and milk). Only problem is that he eats lunch at 10:15am. That's more like brunch to me!
