Absolutely ridiculous. When I first heard it I couldn't believe it at all. It took me over 30 minutes before I was sure it was true enough to post... so sad.

I literally dropped my remote when I saw it on the news. There goes the famous people dying in threes again - Brad Renfro, Suzanne Pleshette, Heath Ledger. :(

I thought they had finished filming the Batman movie since they're already showing previews in the theaters (with our dear Heath in them as the Joker). I assume they were in post-production by now. And maybe they'll dedicate it to him!

Yes, he finished filming for Batman. He had recently been turning down a lot of roles. :(

A friend texted me this afternoon to tell me. I'm really sad. I've loved him for years, and I worked with his manager in Australia in 2002. He had a lot going for him, and I always thought he was relatively calm and not into the Hollywood scene. He'll be missed :(

I just got home and my roommates and i were hanging out, and a friend im'd us this... I CAN'T BELIEVE it! I immediately went to gc to find out, and tell my friends if it was true or not.

Frankly and brutally speaking, Brad Renfro was not a big enough name to make that much of an impact on young Hollywood. Heath Ledger on the other hand, HUGE name. I really hope this becomes a wake-up call for Lindsey, Paris, Britney, and all those other trainwrecks in the wings.

When I first heard the news, it was on some AM radio broadcast, ran by a bunch of old boneheads. I thought that they some how got the name wrong, and they were really talking about Brad.

I was looking at the newest trailer for Batman. I was thinking, "man this is going to be good". This is so sad!

One of the guys on my floor came by and said "news flash for the day. heath ledger is dead" and left (i guess he stopped by every room. lol. silly)
and i thought it was one of those rumors, like jon heder's death or mara wilson's death. So i looked it up. and it was true. Wow. I hate it when young people die.

That is just a rumor. He did not die in an apartment owned by or connected to the Olsen twins.

Good, that would just be too strange.

Is it really necessary for TMZ to be streaming live video of his apartment waiting for his body to be removed? Jeez.

I saw it first on TMZ - and I know they like to make sensational headlines out of nothing...so I thought maybe he died in his new movie or something like that. I was shocked to click on the article and he really did die.

TMZ is also reporting the Mary Kate thing.
