States you forget about

Dude..... I totally forgot about Montana.

lolololololol

I was reading something online and this guy's bio said he attended the University of Montana.

It took me a second or two to realize what Montana was.

LOLOL

WOW! It's ok, we all have our "Miss Teen South Carolina" moments sometimes.

I'm so glad, she wasn't representing my home state.

Unregistered- 01-19-2008 04:31 AM

Delaware, Vermont, and New Hampshire.

PrettyBoy 01-19-2008 05:04 AM

All of them, except Minnesota.:D

Leslie Anne 01-19-2008 05:35 AM

Michigan, Montana and Wisconsin.

If I'm making an alphabetical list of the states those are the ones I always forget.

Scandia 01-19-2008 08:23 AM

I have been to Montana, so you bet I will not be forgetting that one.

I cannot think of any that I would easily forget.

DaemonSeid 01-19-2008 08:44 AM

Does any human life exist in Wyoming?

I believe it does, but I also thought I heard that buffalo outnumber people in WY.

ThetaPrincess24 01-19-2008 10:54 AM

I forget Rhode Island sometimes.

LPIDelta 01-19-2008 10:59 AM

Wyoming is so beautiful! If you haven't been to Yellowstone, you should go.

I tend to forget Delaware....

I was going to say Wyoming. One of my co-workers now lives there. Weird.

1908Revelations 01-19-2008 12:01 PM

All the little ones jammed up on the eastern shore.

AlethiaSi 01-19-2008 12:46 PM

I forget about idaho... lol

ADqtPiMel 01-19-2008 01:29 PM

I was just talking yesterday about how I always forget New Mexico.

alum 01-19-2008 02:41 PM

Those big square states always confused us Bostonians!

macallan25 01-19-2008 02:43 PM

Deleware.

Surprised to see Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana on here. Those three are like heaven on earth. Guess there aren't many outdoors enthusiasts around.

KatieKate1244 01-19-2008 05:49 PM

I tend to forget about Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, and Mississippi.

Tom Earp 01-19-2008 06:12 PM

Ah, Great travelers!:eek::p

LucyKKG 01-19-2008 06:37 PM

Yeah, I forget about some of the northeast states, too. Like Delaware. Remember that scene from Wayne's World? "Hi...we're in Delaware..."

DeltAlum 01-19-2008 09:09 PM

I've found good things in pretty much all of the states I've visited.

Which is almost all of them.

Leslie Anne 01-19-2008 11:29 PM

There are some states that I'd like to forget about. Do those count? :p

tld221 01-20-2008 02:48 PM

if its west of PA, iont know about it lol.

umm, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana... i forget that Hawaii is a state sometimes.

If Iowa didnt have the caucus, i forget about that one too.

sigh, we east coasters dont do well with the midwest.

Me too. If I'm trying to list all 50 states for some random memory game, chances are good R.I. gets left off.

kstar 01-21-2008 04:38 PM

The midwest, save Michigan and Chicago (the rest of Illinois just doesn't exist).

Seriously...let's hope they do. I have a few myself. :)

JennRN 01-21-2008 06:35 PM

Rhode Island and both the Dakotas.

AGDee 01-22-2008 12:10 AM

I would tell you, but I forgot...

VandalSquirrel 01-22-2008 01:58 AM

I'm mad at Larry Craig for bringing attention to us!

I forget about particular territories a lot. Sure, I know about Guam and American Samoa, but I always forget about Palau.

a.e.B.O.T. 01-22-2008 02:01 AM

This is kind of a funny question, BECAUSE, well how would you remember to put the ones you truly forget? Think about it, but anyways... If you go the extra mile to look at a list like I have, then you can answer this, mine we're: Maryland and New Mexico

KonfidentOne 01-22-2008 04:11 AM

Wyoming... Nebraska (which is relatively close:( )

(Weirder)
My older sister and her daughter went from oceanfront living in Sunset Beach to Jackson Hole/Grand Tetons, working in resorts. Beachbrats turned cowgirls, flip flops for cowboy boots. Since they have moved there: my sister hit an elk and wrecked her car, my niece hit a patch of black ice, flipped her truck, totalled it and broke her wrist, and same niece just tumbled down icy stairs, faces knee surgery this week. I think they were safer in the sand.

Part of Texas I'd like to forget, that long haul west taking you through El Paso. That end of the state, not pretty.

ZTAMich 03-23-2008 07:57 PM

This thread has me singing the states song! "The United States the United States, I love my country the United States..." and then the alphabetical list of the states.

And I heart the New Yorker cover. So so so true!

In my theatre class we have to give a project on U.S. History and my lesson is totally going to be about the states and I am definitely putting that song on!! lol. I can totally still sing it on cue! haha

Mine would probably be Wyoming.

I so had to sing that in middle school!!!

Hmmmm.... I should teach it to my middle schoolers... :)

nikki1920 03-24-2008 04:56 PM

I've never heard of that song.

Maine and Idaho.
