Can't get into Greek Life forum
 

For some reason I can't get in there. Everytime I click on it, my computer waits and waits, tries to connect, and nothing happens. I can get into all the other forums just fine. Anyone else have this problem?

I can get it,but it's sooooooooo slow. Sometimes it takes about 10 minute (sigh)

Maybe they need to put old messages in an archive or something to speed loading up? I'm glad it's not just me, I was beginning to think my computer was going nuts lol.

i am trying to be all sneaky by going into some of the greek life topics under "search".. no luck. does anyone know what is going on?

maybe the forum is hitting its peak? It has over 20,000 posts. Hey brooke any word on your interview? I checked a few different papers this weeks but didn't see anything.

I posted this lower down--I'm hoping that this is the sign of John's long-awaited improvements to the site that will permanently ban psychos, jerks, perverts, you name it! Yea!

Until today, I didn't have a problem loading Greek Life, so maybe the site is just having an off day. But it is kinda annoying.

Yeah, I had trouble too. I just stopped trying to get into the forum after a couple of minutes.

I have had trouble the last few days too. glad I am not the only one!

Same here...I think the lack of access to the Greek Life problem started on Friday afternoon...now it is Monday at lunch time and still no cigar!

I can't get into Greek Life at all, but the pages I can access in GC take forever to load. Everything seems slow. I wonder if John ever checks out the other forums. Hopefully he'll hear us all whining. This is getting really frustrating http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/mad.gif!

thank goodness that I am not the only one having trouble! I've been trying to get in for like 2 days now! Ugh!

John has been trying to install new software which will make Greek Chat even better (and we might even get our chatrooms back!!!!). So, just be patient. I haven't been able to get in either but give it another week. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

tonight it seemes to be fine. God I was freaking out tho. THe thought of GC going down was terrifying. I dropped an email to a couple of gals on here who are pretty connected, because I was so freaked out that it was down, and I knew they'd know what was up. Thanks gals for calming me down.

SPOKE way too soon. Greek Life is still not working. Over the weekend, I couldnt even get into to GC. Some progress is better than none I guess.
