Is anyone addicted to Mac n Cheese??
 

I'm so addicted to it!

I've had quite a few boxes in the last few weeks! Hopefully my addiction won't show on my body, though http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif.

Kraft Macaroni and Cheese was my favorite when I was a kid. There was a point in my life when I'd eat nothing but Mac and Cheese. My mom said that I was an easy kid to take care of because of that.

I kinda grew out of it during high school and I vowed never to eat that and PB&J sandwiches ever again...

When I have children some day I'm sure that Mac & Cheese and PB&J will probably come back to haunt me.

I ate mac and cheese all the time in college. I'm not talking the good stuff, i.e. Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, but the generic four boxes for a dollar stuff! Now I admit to a fondness for Velveeta Shells and Cheese with the little packet of cheese sauce instead of the powder you mix with milk. Yummmmmmmmmm! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif

Haha thats awesome, I am a true mac and cheese head. When I checked chit chat, i normally scroll down and see whats interesting as soon as I saw mac and cheese, I was ohhhhh, LOL

NOW, BAKED mac and cheese with cheddar and monterrey(ay) (sp?) jack and the layers of elbow mac and layers of cheese! OH MY GOD!

Unlike many college students I HATE Mac & Cheese. I don't like cheese on most foods and for a while I didn't like any sauces at all on pasta. Most ppl can't believe I don't like this staple of college life/food.

I too was addicted to Mac & cheese as an undergrad. Another college staple for me were Ramen noodles! How could you go wrong at 7 for a buck? As a grad student I hope I will still have time to "cook" the classics...

LOL...here at my city you can get 14 Ramens for one dollar!!! Can you believe that??!!

The Joey+Friends+Mac n Cheese thing is this:
On "Friends" Joey auditioned for a show (and won the starring role) as Mac, in this show called "Mac and Cheese" Cheese was a robot. The show got cancelled before it even aired.

When I saw the title that's what I thought of first, Joey's show...not the food....cause we call it Kraft Dinner (or KD for short) here. I'm not used to hearing it called Mac n Cheese! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif LOL!!!

hey I know it is 3 in the morning but as we speak, I have some noodles boiling on top of the stove. Pop them in the microwave for 4 mins and 11 seconds (Sorry http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif) and bam, instant meal.

This is so funny because it's so true - I'm a big fan of white boxes with "Mac/Cheese" spelled out in black military-looking letters on the front, no nutrition information or directions at all, just the name and a barcode. True story - one time, the only food in my dorm room was macaroni and cheese, and a can of beast lite that was over 2 months old . . . so i had to make due, as it was after 2am and everything was closed. Made me feel like the cheapest man ever.
