Not sure how many bloggers there are out there among you, but I have been looking at how to increase pagerank, and a big part of it can be links back. So I say we pool our blogs and link back to at least help get some initial increase in our page rank and ability to get hits in a search.

So I've cracked the 15,000 views mark as of about a week ago, and are already at 16,735 as of this moment at www.backseatsandbar.com

I'm starting to spread a little wider in geographic scope if its a road trip worth doing. I was in Bloomington, IN last week until 3:30 am (putting my home at 5:30am for 8 o'clock work - ugh!), but I loved every moment of it. If you live within 2-3 hours from Louisville, KY & you know of something fun and cool going on, let me know. Some of my readers are from outlying areas, so anything I can post helps.

I'm currently working on press passes for upcoming shows. We'll see. Also, I'm going DSLR (Canon Rebel XTi, 50mm f/1.8) in the upcoming weeks, so the picture quality should improve as well. Feel free to visit & give feedback on the site.

I don't post about anything too pertinent to my life, but I just like to post fun or interesting sites I find, something I see as important, etc.
I haven't updated it in awhile b/c I was posting most of my stuff on myspace b/c i couldn't figure out how to import my blog, i'll prob update blogger with my posts from myspace...

I have a private one on le LJ. This is my new public blog where I pretend to cook homecooked meals. HA!

My blog is my signature for all of my postings here on GC. I would encourage encourage fellow GCs to visit you by denoting that the link is your blog.

My blog is a baby and has 31,000 page views. As the word spreads, more people come to visit and post comments. My traffic has increased five fold since I started.

My advise is to post regularly and make sure that your entries are quality pieces. Think of it as 'citizen journalist' versus providing general information. Blog readers like to feel that they are a part of the discussion so try to think of creative ways to engage them via polls, video, and other materials.

I'm at 44k & averaging between 350 and 500 a day & I've gotten to a point where I get press passes for most things (Sharon Jones this week!) as well as have gotten linked up on some important other blogs, so things are going well in the blogosphere. Good luck on yours as well....I stumbled through it & it looks really nice.

A few weeks shy of a year and we hit the 100,000 mark a few days ago....!!!

For anyone nearby, we're celebrating our 1yr birthday at The Pour Haus & having The Zero Element, Skyscraper Stereo, The Instruction & Azns n Bnzs play...should be an awesome turnout & each of the bands are really good...from hip-hop to indie rock to dance rock

It's been a great few months::

- 2 months later and we're at 148,000
- I'm going to be guest DJ-ing on our local NPR 91.9 WFPK
- My blog has received citation on NYMag.com and The Guardian Online.
- I've gotten my first photograph published in Outside Magazine
- But best of all, I'm producing my first of many shows, for an incredible musician, THAO WITH THE GET DOWN STAY DOWN

If you live nearby, you should really come....she's incredible....7.7 from Pitchfork, which virtually no non-electronic band has done this year

I update my lifestyle/business blog, Prospere Magazine at least twice a week. Every other Tuesday, a "full issue" (five postings + poll) goes live. I usually write two or three articles per issue and supplement it with contributions from other people (I'm always looking for writers! Let me know if you're interested!).

Prospere Magazine launched back in January.
