Ugh, I can't believe they've been hyping PR4 all summer and now we have to wait til November. That sucks!

The new issue of Entertainment Weekly has all of the new contestants featured.

It would have been so cool to have on of the contestants to do something similar to a recruitment thread. Last year, I would have loved to hear Laura's . "Big Ugly", "Lots of Ugly", "Real Ugly". It would have been hysterical.

Bravo is running a marathon today. It was season 3 finale when I left the house an hour ago.

Me too!! I think it was US weekly or some other tabloid that my mom gets..but they talked about this new season of Project Runway. At the bottom there was a "where are they now" of the previous winners.

Jeffrey apparently is divorcing/seperating from his baby's momma, and his store fell apart. Kinda sad...kinda fitting for him! lol.

Chloe (my favorite of all time) is still the most successful Project Runway winner.

You reap what you sow... Chloe is one of my faves too. Im glad she is doing well.
My faves from all seasons:
Kara Suan, Jay, Daniel Franco, Ausitn, Daniel V., Nick, Chloe, Uli,Michael, Kayne, Malan (not really a fave but I felt bad for him after he said his parents didn't support him) and Bradley-weird but made funny noises and had a general good attitude. Oh, and Andre the drama queen.

The I Hate You squad:
Nina Garcia, Wendy, Zulema, Santino, Jeffery, Angela, Keith (effen-cheater)

Omigosh how could you hate Santino!? He was like the ALL-TIME most entertaining designer ever. I LOVED the guy!! :D

I will admit he was funny with the Tim Gunn imitations but that was it. He really irked me esp. with that scraggly beard. YUCK!

I found Santino to be funny, and I loved nearly all the pieces in his final collection, but I hated most of the outfits he designed during the season.

Daniel V. and Michael Knight were my favorites. I have disagreed with all the picks for the winners for all three seasons.

Sooo excited for Season 4!! Who do you guys think'll win??
 

My bet's on Rami. He's the ishhhhhh:-) Just look at his stuff www.ramikashou.com how can he not win? What do you guys think?

My dislikes:
Laura!! (yikes...blah!), Jeffrey (although i did feel bad when Laura pulled that isht before fashion week), Kara Saun! (yuck again!), Keith

I totally dispise (sp?) Laura! She's old, her designs are old, she doesn't have any variation, and she's a big ol' B!


P.S. one of the designers on the show is originally from my hometown!! YAY...her name is Elisa.

So what did we think about the start of season 4?

I think they are very talented, in general. I liked that the challenge wasn't some kooky grocery store challenge. Simone deserved to leave because they had amazing fabrics and complete creative freedom, and she couldn't turn out a well-made, tasteful garment.

BTW, did anyone else see the near-pornographic shot of Jack in his undies??

wtf? What were the judges smoking, or drinking before they judged the designs?

Rami's was AWFUL!!!!! It was an awful color, and i'm sorry...a toga? I saw better draping and designs during the toga party we had this past May! Wow!

Ok, so at the moment, not very proud that Elisa is from my hometown! lol. I really like Chris March...I thought his dress was gorgeous. I <3'd the color!

I absolutely loved Rami's dress.

It's going to be a great season.

I think Rami is going to be this year's Uli. I have a feeling his dresses will be very similar week to week and he will need to try something different to wow the judges down the road.

I did agree with Michael Kors. The flower was very MOB.

My early favorites are Chris, Rami, Victorya, Jack, and Ricky. :)

Christian and Elisa are already bugging me (which means they'll be around for at least another 6-7 episodes).

The color for Rami's dress was definately "blah" but seriously the first thing I thought when I saw it on the runway was "I can totally see some star wearing that to the golden globes or academy awards". And if you think about it, you can totally see that dress, probably in a different color and minus the MOB flower, on the red carpet.

^^^ This is hysterical. However, I have to agree the same thing happens to me on all of these shows. Once I decide I don't like someone they stick around forever! This ESPECIALLY happens to me with American Idol! :D

Loving the new season already!!! Most of the designers seem really talented. I think all the personalities are gonna be great too. Christian is definitely gonna be the trouble maker and Elisa, well she's clearly another story!! That lady is a little out there.

I don't remember the name of the designer who created that turquoise monstrosity, but SHE'S the one who deserved to get the boot !! UGGHhh ! She was lazy AND it was ugly !!!!!!

Although I think without the "dragging rooster tail" train, the dress might have been pretty. The color was great and I loved the sleeves

Agreed! It might not have been the most exciting dress, but it was well made and very pretty.

I did too! I'm glad he (the designer, whatever his name was) didn't get the boot because it wasn't "innovative enough" :rolleyes:

I <3 Rami! And Kit (if that's her name). She's a stylist on E! and I love her stuff!
