That was the only bad part of the season--it was mixed up with my beloved Survivor's timespot! And about Lorelai's maybe-upcoming-marriage to Max...well, that's interesting, to say the least! I only saw the last 1/2 hour because of friends, but I am torn! I like Max but I like Luke too! I am sure Max and Lorelai will get engaged but then Luke will come between them.

And since I missed the first half--why were Paris, madeline, etc all pissed at Rory?

I think that Paris and her crew were all pissed at Rory b/c Tristan bought tickets for her and himself to attend a concert...and spread the word to all of Chilton Prep. Of course Paris and Madeline found out, and thought that Rory and Tristan are together! Actually, Rory had no idea, and of course, was pissed off at Tristan. Also, I subscribe to mightybigtv.com's free update service...here's a FULL recap (and by full, I mean full! It's about 10 pages plus!) of every detail, good for both of us since we both missed some parts! Since it's so long...you can easily skip over the things that you've seen (chronological order!).

By the way, Gilmore Girls has been RENEWED for next season and will be taking over Buffy's Tuesday at 8pm time slot on the WB.

This is pretty funny. Last year the football frat would watch dawson's creek together and our house had a thing for felicity.

I love Gilmore Girls, but have been channel surfing between that and American Idol. When is the season finale?

I missed Tuesday's episode but thankfully our WB replays everything on Saturday.

Keiko Agena [Laine] went to a neighboring private school near my HS and it's weird seeing the type of character she plays because it's so unlike her in real life. Still, it's cool to see a Hawaii girl making it big.

This is one of my all-time favorite shows.

My mom and I have a standing date every tuesday to watch it.

Lauren Graham was on Celebrity Jeopardy today. She did pretty well - came in 2nd!

Can't wait to see what this whole Dean getting married thing is all about!!

BTW, that whole thing with Mr. Medina and Lorelai needs to end. She's too beautiful to not have had a steady by now!!! Why is Rory getting more tail than Mom???

I love this show and watch it religiously...but how in the world did I miss that!!!!

Dean is getting married!!?? To Lindsay? When did this happen? And why is he leaving the show? The last I saw was Dean and Jess fighting on the lawn, and I was hoping the Dean and Rory would get back together because I am so sick of Jess and his bad ass attitude, Dean is such a cutie.

See, my mom and I do have a similar type of relationship, which is why I love this show (and "Judging Amy", but I digress).

Yeah, the coming attractions show Dean telling Rory that he is getting married. Now, we all know how things can get taken out of context in previews, so let's wait and see.

Yeah, I can't stand Jess and don't know how his unlikeable character will survive a spin-off!!

jess is getting a spinoff..it doesn't sound like its going to be very good..something about living w/his father or something....dean is leaving, the actor(i forget his name) will be playing the title role in the new macgyver series..again, sounds like its gonna flop and hopefully dean will be back in stars hollow where he belongs.. :)

personally, i would LOVE to see tristan show up at yale..i loves me some chad michael murray :)

i am so addicted to this show..i think they have some of the best writers out there, always witty and intelligent..

That said, I just started watching this show and I LOVE it! It's so cool. I wish Loralei Gilmore lived next door to me; I'd love to hang around with her (and borrow her clothes!!!)

How are they doing the show new year with Rory going away to school?
Half the fun is watching Loreli and Rory be kooky together! :(

Since Rory is going to Yale, I think she might be commuting from Star's Hollow.

1) I wonder if she'll live in Stars Hollow or live with the grandparents, so Lorelai will be forced to have a better relationship with them?

2) Dave was so sweet with Mrs. Kim last night. But that woman needs to loosen up more. PS: I love how they slipped in last night that Laine will be going to a local college so she'll stay on the show.

3) I felt so bad for Rory last night after seeing Jess with his stuff and after he just said to her "I'll talk to you later!" It's almost like he's running out on her...He never honored her...

4) The Dean marriage thing was not set up correctly. I mean, particularly after him fighting with Jess last week and all of a sudden he's getting married? Poor storyline segue, writers!

Overall, I give the episode a B-...

JESS TRAVELS TO CALIFORNIA TO CONFRONT HIS FATHER — After the blow-up with Luke (Scott Patterson), Jess (Milo Ventimiglia) leaves Stars Hollow for Venice, California, to stay with Jimmy (guest star Rob Estes), the father he knows almost nothing about. Jimmy admits he isn't capable of being a father, but promises to ask his live-in girlfriend Sasha (guest star Sherilynn Fenn) to let Jess stay. Back in Stars Hollow, at the same time Lorelai (Lauren Graham) is wondering how to tell Rory (Alexis Bledel) that Jess is gone, she learns that the money Richard (Edward Herrmann) gave her will make Rory ineligible for financial aid at Yale. Feeling stressed out about everything, Rory unexpectedly confronts Emily (Kelly Bishop) over her treatment of Lorelai. Keiko Agena and Liza Weil also star. The episode was written and directed by Amy Sherman-Palladino (#175021).

i read somewhere that lorelai will borrow money from emily and richard again to pay for yale, so friday night dinners will be starting again.

I hate how their using valuable "Gilmore Girls" time to set up Jess's spin off. Because I...don't...care!!! :mad:
