Summer Plans
 

Spring semester is finally coming to an end for me (yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) I have 2 more finals left and then I am done! I'm going to be working and going to school for the whole summer. I'm taking a week off after Summer D because my boyfriend is taking me on a cruise as my very belated B-Day present http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif What is everyone else's summer plans?

Well, I'll be taking 2 classes over the summer while working at the State's Attorney's office in downtown Chicago. I'm also going on a trip to Acupolco (sp?) with my bilogical sisters http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif It's going to be a very busy yet fun summer!

Wow, that sounds like a lot of fun, have fun gals! I myself am going to travel with my fiance to Italy and Spain...I'm so excited! Last time, also, to take a trip as fiances...in the fall we will be married! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif

Ahhh none of you can top me, i'll be living the sweet life working shift work at a factory http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif

School officially ends May 11 for me. Then it's a week off before summer school on May 21-June something. I'll be taking Calculus http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/mad.gif and America's Television History http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif this summer.

July 4th I'll be leaving for AGD Convention in Atlanta, GA!!! After Convention it's back to 40 hours a week at work. I work at the Ticket and Information Office where I am also a certified campus tour guide. Oh the joyyyyyyy....

I'm hoping to take the BF to the Big Island to see the volcanoes since he hasn't seen them yet. Hopefully I can get a vacation amidst all the madness.

tomorrow-monday (4 day) going and staying in Roanoke, Va

Later this may- going to chi-town to Northwestern U for some big party cause my buddy goes to school there

May 5th - Nashville for Dylan concert

???-go to Auburn or Atlanta to see my cousin

July 27th - last day of finals
July 30th - Leave for London
August 14th- return from London
August 20th - start school

Summer break, what is that?

I LOVE SUMMER!!! My fave time of year! Finally get to chill...

I will be chilling, studying for the SATs (yuck), and hopefully getting a job/internship at a preschool or a psychologist's office (want to try those out...possible career paths).

June: Sigma Sigma Sigma convention at Saddlebrook Resort
July: My 27th bday celebration. We are going sailing and to dinner
July: Busch Gardens and Williamsburg
Various Weekends all Summer: tubing and white water rafting in WV
August: Traveling to Atlanta to visit family
September: Going to Nantucket and to a wedding in MA

With 13 kids? You can figure it out! Run the kids to camp. Pick up kids from camp. Take kids to swimming lessons. Pick up...

At least since my husband's a teacher, he'll be there to do the duty too--and we can be together!!

May 19--I'm outta here! I was going to stay for Commencement, but I am soooo ready to get out of Rhode Island! I normally love it, but it's just waaay too stressful!
May 21--I start my internship at an architectural firm. I got it in a really weird way--I just sent my resume to ALL of the architectural firms where I live, and I got a few bites! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif I may get a job waitressing or working at a bookstore, too--to pay the sorority dues.
June 1--My boy is coming to Florida so I can show him our really really white sands! Oh, yeah...he's coming to meet my family, too.
Sometime in July--Going to see my boyfriend and 1 more family member of his I have yet to meet.
Late July--AXO Leadership Conference! This isn't definite, but if I am selected, I will so go! I really really want to see HQ, and meet more Alpha Chis! Even though I was initiated a year ago, I have totally gotten into AXO this semester.
August 28--Going back to school.

My last final is May 13 3-5 PM (how sucky is that?)

I'll be going home, and I have no job as of yet. I may go put in some applications at the mall if I go home at some point during finals to move some stuff. (My finals are on Monday, Thursday and Saturday, so I'll have plenty of time). I'd love to get an internship in IT, but those are few and far between where I live...

Otherwise, the summer should be filled with going to the gym, hanging out with the boyfriend and maybe a trip with my mom...
