I know it's from WALMART...but really, how adorable?? You could get some letter embroidered on and it would be PERFECT. Cheap too, so it would make a great lil sis gift!

I'm both a former New Orleanian and a Kappa, so I've got lots of FDL. I bought this necklace on Etsy and it is unique and absolutely gorgeous! The seller is a doll and for the money, I don't think you can get a more beautiful necklace. She has tons of other FDL stuff and I'm getting one of the rings next.

I just ordered a belt with a fleur de lis buckle and am waiting on it to arrive. I love some of the things on this website!

Enjoy!

carnation 11-11-2007 12:33 PM

Oooo! We were at JC Penney yesterday and they had a size M dark blue jacket with a light and dark blue fleur de lis on the side!

Mignon Faget is a Louisiana artist who produces a beautiful fleur-de-lis necklace/earrings/ring/bracelet design that many women in Louisiana own. My sister (not a Kappa, just a proud Louisianian) has the set and it's beautiful! I just found the site...there's lots of fleur-de-lis stuff!

Fleur-de-lys items

There is a dark blue umbrella at Talbots with a light blue Fleur-de-lis! It is not on their web site but was in my local store. Great stocking stuffer!

Hopeful_Bubbles 12-18-2007 04:23 PM

Not necessarily Kappa items, but they're pretty:

Fleur de Lis 02-01-2008 12:15 PM

I just bought a GORGEOUS diamond and sapphire fleur de lis necklace at Macy's!!! I pick it up Sunday and will post a picture when I get it home. However, they are having an amazing sale - 50% off then 15% more if you use your Macy's card. Even with TN's ridiculous sales tax, it was under $200. This is my Valentine's and birthday gift. :P

Fleur de Lis 02-04-2008 12:12 AM

Here is a picture! It's a little fuzzy, but you get the idea. I'm in love. :p

I love your necklace! It's pretty without being too bling!

QVC has a fleur-de-lis table, Item #H141436.

08rushmom 02-09-2008 12:49 AM

For anyone in the vacinity of a Palais Royal store . . . sterling fleur de lis necklaces (pendant), earings, and rings 60% off.

Hopeful_Bubbles 02-09-2008 10:22 AM

Forgive me if it's been mentioned already, but we were in American Eagle the other day and that had one of those long necklaces with [only] a key, a pearl, and a fleur de lis as charms/pendants.

Haha that's strangely cool! I found my dad's Boy Scout knife and I had forgotten they use the fleur-de-lis as well.

They also have a heavy-duty fdl cookie cutter and a chocolate coin mold with an embossed fdl seal.

MSKKG 05-25-2008 06:55 PM

Are these for sale to the general public?

alum 05-26-2008 12:12 AM

Sure, go to your local Boy Scout supply store or order online. Brick and mortar stores are usually in the same building as the council HQ. We are lucky in the National Capital Area Council to have 2 stores, 1 on each side of the Potomac so no crossing the dreaded bridges.

http://www.scoutstuff.org/BSASupply/...=3&item=173SCC is the cookie cutter page. The chocolate mold fdl has a BSA emblem as well so it wouldn't work.

And if no one else has mentioned it-an entire store dedicated to the fdl:

http://www.fleurdelisfashions.com

MSKKG 08-25-2008 08:59 PM

Are you trying to bankrupt us all?!? I wanted to buy everything! Thanks for the link.

alum 09-27-2008 04:10 PM

I was in a store called Kirkland's yesterday. While my sister was being the good auntie and buying her Pi Phi niece some angels, I was admiring all the many fdl items they had in stock such as the glass jars shown on their homepage: http://www.kirklands.com/Default.asp....460446.534355.

They also had these mirrors that were framed by a big key. The mirror was inset into the head of the key and the shank was somewhat stubby.

Kirkland's was also carrying botanical prints and one was a iris, although it was not blue.

Wow. The "history" section even mentions KKG. The earrings and rings are inexpensive enough to buy as initiation gifts. Thanks for the link!

SuperblySigma 10-30-2008 11:15 PM

Sorry to crash, Kappas, but I found these rainboots and thought of y'all!
