Did anyone see them perform this on Ellen?

This is one of Ellen Degeneres' favorite songs, and she knew it by heart and sang it on her show one time. Well a week or two after that Salt N Pepa surprised her and came on the show and sang it with her. She was very excited to say the least, lol.

Ah, I would have enjoyed seeing that.

I wonder if they are gonna go into how they cut Spin out of millions after they renegotiated a record deal after the Shoop album

I wonder if they are going to touch on that as well especially since this was one of the reason why they stopped speaking.

I just watched the clip, and I had to watch it twice and I agree, this is going to be a good show. Did you see the differences in the houses that they live in?

I looked at the first show last week because it's on On Demand as a sneak preview, and all I can say is....damn....Pep hasn't grown up at all. Salt has really changed a lot and what she believes in, and Pep is still stuck back with where they were.

I did like the fact that Salt did apologize to Pep, because she just ended the group and never really said why or what she waw going through, so i did like that, but they are so in 2 different places in their lives, and I hear that a fight is going to take place, and they are going to tape it and show it on the show, and after seeing the first already, I can see why a fight will break out.

VH1 aired the first show this morning, and it was really good. I agree with everything you said. Salt is on a totally different level now and Pepa...she's still Pepa. I'm really going to like this show.

Yes, I think that I am going to like it as well.


Off the subject but did anyone see Irv Gotti's show....dude is a trip...yup his wife kicked him the hell out because he was asked in an intrview if he cheated on his wife and he was like yup, sure do and a lot. He said he just couldn't help it, so she kicked him out which he says a lot, and she and the kids live in the house and he has an apartment in town......they have a girl 15, and 2 boys 10 & 8 and in one scene Deb (wife) is telling the daughter to go to college and make you own money and not be depended on any man. So irv is like that's not what you did, and she is like exactly I don't want her following in my foot steps, ande Irv is like don't listen to your mom, follow in her foot steps. My thing is, why would you want your daughter having to depend on a man for money and to live, and being married to a guy that cheats on her...

I caught last week's episode on demand today; I'll catch this week's episode later in the week. I think that it will be really interesting 'cause its a SHE thang! :cool:

I understand Salt wanting to still be a performer on a certain level, but it can't be done with Pepa. Not until Pepa grows up.

Cheryl can still perform, but she's going to get another partner. Plus, she's going to have to let the name "Salt" go. That's like "Pebbles" and "Vanity
", when they got saved, they let their unsaved stage names go.
