Who is your GreekChat Id?

What member of GreekChat seems to say what you want say but won't let yourself for various reasons?

Tippiechick 06-19-2007 08:59 PM

NO ONE. If I want to say something, I do.

UGAalum94 06-19-2007 09:19 PM

I like the truth in advertising thing you've got going on there. ;)

I wasn't thinking so much about evilness for entertainment's sake, although that certainly has a place on GreekChat.

It was more people like Macallen25. He doesn't (seem to) worry about it being PC; he doesn't (seem to) worry about people concluding he has a lot of personal experience with risk management issues. He doesn't (seem to) worry that he will seem mean or ungentlemanly: if he hopes that you get killed by killer bees, he just posts it.

I guess posting with impunity is partially why people create sock puppets, but I sometimes admire the folks who put it all out under one user name.

Obviously NutBrnHair.

UGAalum94 06-19-2007 09:24 PM

An image thread has fantastic potential for entertainment on this topic. Where can I get a picture of a cat with commentary on cocaine?

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaah. Golden.

.......but seriously. I just throw it all out there........if I get roasted by Mr. or Mrs. John Q. Greekchat......so be it. Nothing wrong with shaking things up a little bit around here.

PM_Mama00 06-19-2007 11:53 PM

Jock. I don't remember what the number is, or if he's a sockpuppet, but I envy him.

christiangirl 06-20-2007 01:57 AM

It's a tie between Ziasha and Ladygreek. But Z usually PMs me what I wanted to post, but didn't want to say in "public." Even if she didn't say it in a thread, she still knew I was thinking it. ;)

SydneyK 06-20-2007 08:23 AM

I gotta say MysticCat.

What?, you say?

It isn't because of the snark (because he doesn't dish it out), it's because of how (seemingly) nicely he can say, "You're completely wrong. Let me educate you." He can call you out in a way that'll make you want to say "Thanks" when he's done.

MysticCat 06-20-2007 09:55 AM

LOL. Thanks, Sydney! ;)

ETA: Personally, I've always envied wptw's masterful way of setting people straight. He posts all too rarely.

AlexMack 06-20-2007 12:36 PM

OTW and Tippiechick are my joint heroes. I mean, I am a bitch and I don't care, but those two...even I have my limits (surprisingly enough, you'd be amazed at what I DON'T say) and neither of them care. I love both of them so much!

Also Macallan25 cracks me up constantly. We don't agree on a lot, but we do agree on creative death sentences.

i'm gonna put my bid in for AlphaFrog.

OneTimeSBX 06-20-2007 12:48 PM

aka_monet is always so educated and precise with her answers. sometimes, i'm not too sure if i agree with her or not but the details she brings, i dont dare say anything. i read and absorb...and hope that one day they will be answers on Jeopardy! :)

cuteASAbug 06-20-2007 01:22 PM

33girl or centaur532

PrettyBoy 06-20-2007 01:37 PM

Marquise1911.

He doesn't start stuff with other members for no reason, but he speaks his mind, and at the same time is very arrogant about it. I guess that's the Nupe in him though. :D

BetteDavisEyes 06-20-2007 01:41 PM

valkyrie just b/c she says what she wants, what she means, and doesn't care about what others think.

I do have to agree! :)

PM_Mama00 06-20-2007 04:58 PM

I forgot to add Dionysus. But only cuz I think I spelled her name wrong. Seriously though, she says what I think half the time.

Continuation of sidebar: I hate when people are getting blasted in the forums but pull out "Tons of people agree with me via PM, they're just 'too afraid' to say so"

Right.

A lot of times, I totally agree with someone, but no one was talking to me. It's bad enought to butt in, but if I know it's no good business of mine, I'm staying out of it no matter who I agree with. But I wouldn't PM somebody and say anything if I'm not going to say it on the board, people do that to me all the time. "Well, all these other people agreed with me via PM, so obviously I'm right." Whatever.

PrettyBoy 06-20-2007 06:52 PM

I don't have any beef with anyone on here. As long as they stay out of KB if they're not a Nupe, they're good with me. I'll post if I agree or not, and leave it at that. I won't get into a serious argument though, especially with the people that I feel are trouble makers. I pretty much ignore them or just say "oh o.k."

AlwaysSAI 06-20-2007 07:22 PM

Back on topic real quick:

For me, it's a tie between Drolefille and AlphaFrog.

AlphaFrog is always straightforward and upfront, no matter how it sounds. Cuz, I have also been known to sound ueber bitchy without intending too. :p

And, Drolefille, because whatever pops into her head just comes rolling right on out. I tend to have that problem in real life, but my thoughts never make it to the message boards.

cheerfulgreek 06-22-2007 01:33 AM

I would say centaur532 and DSTCHAOS.

centaur532-She doesn't care what people think of her. She'll just post it and move on to the next. She doesn't apologize either. I saw a post when a newer member asked centaur532 to apologize to her for bringing her name up in another thread. It was a really, really long post too. All of that typing and centaur532's response to that member was "No". lol :p That was so funny to me.

DSTCHAOS-I wish I could post like her. She has a way of making other members twist and turn their words around, digging themselves deeper and deeper into a hole. She also does this with minimal words. I would never wanna get on her bad side.:)

I am touched and honoured!

macallan25 06-22-2007 02:33 PM

"Your kids have touched me.........and I'm pretty sure I've touched them too."
