Hey girls! I'll be there (JPowers155) along with Alana, our FA. This is her first TLC/VLC so make sure to say "hi". She's an AMAZING FA. I couldn't live without her.

Let's get together though... maybe one night? Adult beverages? Someone who's driving can bring something? I'll volunteer the room for a gathering place!!!

As hopeful as I was that I would make it, I'm just not seeing how it will be possible. My mom is still in the hospital and I don't see them discharging her before Tuesday. Because of the length of stay and lack of activity (and food on many days), she's quite weak and will not be able to stay alone for at least a few days so I will be staying with her when she's discharged.

I'll miss seeing you all.

So I just got a little excited reading that Alana is an amazing FA since I'm your new PFS!

What time does everyone get in tomorrow? My plane is supposed to land at 5:10pm. Please keep your fingers crossed that the thunderstorms they are predicting for Boston don't mess that up!

The FA and I are getting in at 11:30 am (Delta). The CR Advisor is flying Airtran and getting in a little after 9. She said that she will go on to the univ if there are enough people for the shuttle. Otherwise, she'll wait for us.

Everyone--I just called American Airlines and my flight has been cancelled due to bad weather in Texas. They weren't going to be able to get me into Pittsburgh until Saturday.

I'm not sure if I'm going to make it. I called Southwest and found the LAST seat going to Pittsburgh. I have the reservation--I'm just waiting to find out whether the additional cost is going to be approved. So, agd4rie, if you're reading this please call or email me!!!

There's a lot of people your way so I wonder if they will be able to make it.

Were you able to get the flight? I'm getting nervous on this end because they are predicting thunderstorms for my entire route. I may try to go standby on the earlier flight to DC so my layover won't be that tight.

OK folks--IHQ approved the additional cost. I'm on the phone with Southwest right now to buy the ticket. I'll be getting in around 10 tonight, but better late than never, right?
