_Lisa_ 06-13-2007 05:23 PM

I also got 17...and my arms do swing that way! ;) Call it years of musical theatre I guess-but I remember making sure we didn't look like robots in rehearsals.

OneTimeSBX 06-13-2007 06:37 PM

SOPi_Jawbreaker 06-13-2007 07:52 PM

bluefish81 06-13-2007 08:21 PM

I got twenty, but I got lucky on the question about matches. I don't even know the last time I had a book of matches - don't most people use lighters?

SoCalGirl 06-13-2007 09:28 PM

I got 18.

They should swing that way or you must look really weird when you walk! :p They go in opposition to help us balance properly.

I guess I should have been more spesific, I don't swing my arms when I walk. I either lightly touch my thighs, or sometimes my tummy (if I don't have something in my hands).

SWTXBelle 06-14-2007 12:20 PM

I got that one by thinking about posting while riding - how weird is that?

I'm totally missing how the connection here -- how's posting help you figure it out?

SWTXBelle 06-14-2007 01:34 PM

Thinking of how the horse's legs move at a trot - and then thinking of how to get on the right beat, and then how human arms would move while "trotting". I told you, I think it's weird, but I did get the question right.

Don't worry, I got your reference. I remember my very British instructor yelling over and over "Sit a beat, sit a beat!!".

SWTXBelle 06-15-2007 09:48 AM

I always remember that bump BUMP you'd have to take to get back on the beat . ..

Yes, I'd much prefer if English riding dictated that you took the extra beat up in the stirrups, instead of down in the saddle.

Did you ever do any vaulting?
