FYI...If you want to be OES you may want to go about it in a different way. Let's start by getting a new URL on your myspace. Take it from me...OES going on 18 yrs strong.

Okey, wait, I am not O.E.S. and I know there are several GC'ers that are. But why did I think you really need to be ultra religious to be involved with O.E.S. and somewhat of an elder involved with the Church?

My mother said that her mother, my grandmother was a member. But since I did not grow up with O.E.S. I am unfamiliar with all the intricasies.

And why is this in the Social page?

The reason that you probably thought this is because it was never broken down to you and that's cool because people often get misinformed and that is how we learn. I understand because you didn't grow up in it...you should look into it because you are "bloodline" if it seems to peak your interest a bit. ;)

On another note...I don't know why this is in a social page but the person who started this thread had a really raunchy screen name on myspace which speaks a bit to her character. She is out of line asking about OES with that tag attached. Anyway, you can be as young as 18 yrs(which is when my mom brought me in) when initiated into the order. I'm glad you asked the question. A sister after my own heart...Searching for knowledge.;)

I gotta agree with my sisters posting above. Belief in a Supreme Being is required to join OES, as well as Masonic relationship or majority membership in Rainbow or Job's Daughters (this is General Grand Chapter rules; not sure if PHA OES has the same or different requirements).

oh no, you can still find this mess. Just put in her myspace usnername quoted in the first post at the top of this page after www.myspace.com and her page will pop right up....I checked it yesterday.

the page is still there...I just saw it today...didn't see a slideshow but in her pics theres a OES pic and a caption that said its her "calling" or something..

Ok, well, first, seriously, I just don't get how people can spend more than 5 minutes on myspace. My eyes started to hurt after about 30 seconds. And I'm no prude, but good lord, some of the comments/pictures/usernames of her "friends" -- blech!!! ANYway, on to this lovely young woman --- is she really 19 with 4 children, or am I reading that wrong? Did she post double pictures of her kids, or has she really had 4? And she says she's still in high school, but lists her income at $30-45K. Now where was THAT after-school job when I needed it? Sheesh. Anyway, yeah, she's a peach. Some org should DEFINITELY snap her up.

I agree nittan. Plus there is a girl (friend w/ makeitrainondemhoez) with a picture of The AKA shield as her profile pic and I bet she is not my Soror.....:mad:!

All in all, the whole group on that myspace page smacks of quality...

I wonder where was that job too. That could have paid off some creditors and a couple of loans.

I don't know about that in your siggy; IMO, cucusoft is the BEST for ipod conversion.
