Okay, I wanna be a Kappa when I get older. and my cousin who is a Kappa is showing me some things. and I want ed to know if there is any place where I could learn some signs???

Don't set your standards quite so high. For starters, learn how to spell the word "wanted."

He hasnt even posted again since 10:50, so he probably posted and then signed out, so when he signs back in he will get all of the warnings .....just calm down a little, no one needs a heart attack or stroke over this.....although i do sympathize with you, because I know I would hate for someone to sport my letters that wasnt a brother or at least an A.M. :cool:

You say he BETTER remove it.....but just what are you gonna do if he doesnt.......I mean I am curious to know your course of action if he refuses to remove that from his signature....are you gonna hunt him down and beat his ass......I think the right thing would be to tell him he is wrong without yelling at him because he may not know........its not like I knew all the dos and donts before I became a Brother, I had to learn alot of things......so it may be simple ignorance to the fact.....and I got the impression from his first post on this thread that he was a little younger, maybe high school or possibly a Freshman in college, so like I daid he may just need to be informed, but I also agree with the fact that he is being very arrogant by asking for signs and such.

There are several highschool students who sign up on GC who have an interest in greek life. They sign up to ask questions to greek members. I have never seen any of them with letters in their sigs. At least not since I've been a member on here. There is currently a highschool student who post on this site almost daily who I'm almost positive is going greek when she gets to college. If she has sense enough to know not to wear letters in her sig that she's not affiliated with, then DannyJay should too. According to him he has mentors so he really should know better.

As far as me hunting someone down and doing physical harm to them is concerned, of course not. That's stupid and would be considered assault and jail time.

Sorta........I was curious as to how he was going to handle the situation.......I immediately picked up on the fact that this kid was pretty young, maybe not middle school young, but I had a feeling he wasnt quite in college yet. Oh and I didnt really tell him how to do it.........just how I would have handled the situation.....especially since he jumped down the poor kids throat a second time, before he even signed back on to change it (which is obviously what happened when he got back on).......so just throwing out my opinion which is the norm for greekchat anyway.....no matter the location:D

Trey, please understand the importance of this situation. If my FRAT spoke to the young man about his sig. once, then that is one time too many. Honestly, the young man should be happy because if he is as bold enough to come express his dream directly on KAPPA KORNER, then its no telling who he has said what to in public. Somewhere down the line, this could get him hurt (either emotionally or physically).

So in other words, however you run things on your block is your business, but leave KAPPA business to KAPPAS!

Yes Andy (sorry I didnt know his name.....thats my fault) is a great guy, his posts are usually really good, and people should try and be a little more like him.

As for Tom being de-moded (sp?), I can see where some people would want him removed (yes, even brothers), but personally I dont feel like giving my opinion on the subject.

One of the first things that the Kappas (and the other NPHCers) will look for is humility. I suggest you start practicing it now with your elders on this board.
